Honestly can’t wait until we properly see poldi again (if we do) cause the last time he saw mc they were a small confused but carefree kid and now they’re a genuinely dangerous thief and/or assassin. I feel like that’s gotta be at least a bit of whiplash.

I'm just messing with you, here is some dramatic Poldi.

The scene in this one is that of a familiar memory, you and Poldi walking through the market, however there is no movement in this dream. Instead all is frozen. The vendors in the market, the birds in the sky, and even Poldi, are not flesh and blood but stone, as if a cruel artist tried to trap your happiness in unyielding stone.

Still, it's good to see his face as you remember it.

"I haven't stopped looking for you,"

Your voice echoed across the quiet. The yellow smoke swirling between the two of you letting that this is another dream.

If not for dreams like this, you might have forgotten the smirk that grew kinder over the years and the way the haughtiness faded from his eyes when you said something that made him laugh.

"I don't know if I'll find you this lifetime, but I'll keep looking," you say, knowing it's futile to speak but doing it anyway.

“I would look for you in every lifetime,” you say resolutely, your eyes gazing into the stone ones of the boy you once knew, when suddenly yellow smoke begins to pour from the stone.

You take a step back as the statue is engulfed in the smoke and a voice, both familiar and unknown echoes out from it.

The rasping voice is quiet, yet it feels loud, like its reverberating off the walls of your skull.

"You don't have to look for me, because in every life time, I will find you. The only thing you must do is await me,"

Poldi is still out there looking for MC despite all these years?? Despite seeing that the circumstances they left them in most likely would’ve resulted in MC’s death???

With this much dedication how is this guy not an RO 😭

Maybe he's looking, maybe a dream is just a dream...

You bring up a good point though. Maybe there is something behind the devotion it would take to sustain searching for that long. I guess it could be kind of romantic.

It is said that, every few moons, our brave author opens the Sanctus gates and readies herself against the growing herd of Poldimancers waiting to pounce on their beloved Strawberry Prince.

When the tenacious waves have gone, our author lies in a cloud of dust, clinging to dear life. However, she gives a tired smile, knowing that Poldi is safe from his pursuers… for now, at least.

I'm scrolling through trying to answer these asks and so many are Poldi focus.
