#BCStorm update: Crews made steady progress through the day following some heavy winds throughout the province. In #NorthernBC, crews will be working through the night but some customers in #BellaBella, #Sandspit, #QueenCharlotte, and #Masset will be without power overnight. Our team will begin helicopter patrols in the region at first light on Wednesday to identify damage in remote areas and continue repair work. Due to ferry cancellations, customers on #QuadraIsland, #CortesIsland and #HornbyIsland will be without power overnight. There will also be some customers out overnight in #Ahousat, #Opitsaht and the #PortHardy (Quatsino) areas where crews require boat access and daylight to continue repair work on Wednesday morning. Extensive damage on the southern #GulfIslands will leave some customers without power overnight in Musgrave Landing on #SaltSpring, and some customers #GalianoIsland. Crews will be mobilizing in the morning to continue restoration efforts. On the #SunshineCoast, work will continue through the night, but some customers in #PowellRiver and #Sechelt will be without power overnight. We appreciate your patience.
