I know I have already vaguely mentioned going on a ‘temporary hiatus,’ as well as stating multiple times about leaving and coming back, but this is just an official post stating that I will be going on a complete hiatus for the next little while
SANGUISUGA and my other projects are not abandoned, but they are also not currently being worked on. I won’t be going into the specific reasons behind my leave, obviously. It will just require me to step away from external responsibilities for the time being
Really the only reason I am making this is so that weird serpent guy on the pirating website doesn’t point and go, ‘See i was right’
I’d quickly like to give a small thank you to all the support I have received. I never really had the desire to share my works with an audience, and often dreaded the feedback I would receive on a project so viscerally connected to my own thoughts and experiences, but things have truly been good. I have made connections and friends, my writing has been praised, I’ve been given clear stepping stones on where and how to grow, and more — I am grateful, and look forward to when I am able to come back. I’d also like to thank my beta testers for their patience and understanding during this period of what has effectively been radio silence
