Honestly, that year I heard that Tian Guan Ci Fu's getting a live action adaptation and was currently filming or so, I was hoping to watch it the next year and hope to get to gif Hua Cheng and Xie Lian with Lan Zhan and Wei Ying side by side for the live action versions.
But unfortunately, the "next year" never came and I never got to witness how E-ming and Ruoye would've been like in the drama version or how Hua Cheng and Xie Lian will be played in the live action.
I wanted to see how Zhai Xiaowen be like as a clumsy Xie Lian and how Zhang Linghe will be like being cheerful and careful Sanlang or serious and dangerous Hua Cheng. Now it feels like long distant dreams.
