when you first met mikado, he felt immediate love at first sight, so of course you being a quiet person he wanted to get you to open up more..

he tried getting nikei to interview you (which was a lost cause—), tried getting kokoro to read your emotions… but none of it worked so him himself just sat there admiring you from afar (what a cute gentleman —)

he eventually befriended you and grew MORE in love with you by the second!

since you were quiet and didn’t make much noise, he tried doing special tricks just for you! but subtly hinting his love for you

i.e: making hearts with flames, doing little fireworks..

but if he is feeling risky, he’ll flirt with you once or twice, just to see your cheeks flare up and grow hot like the fire he spewed from his hands.

he loved to see the quiet side of you silently disappear as you grew more obvious to his love for you..

one day he couldn’t hold his feelings in any longer so w h a t did he do?

And with that, you guys start dating. Mikado notices you aren’t really as quiet and shy as you were before, not like he was complaining.

But you were always asking for cuddles, begging to hold his hand in public .. etc which he loved since he always tries to initiate some PDA with you!

With many cuddles, kisses, hand holding later. Mikado finds himself asking you in awe why your so affectionate..clingy and adorable ?!

Your really flattered by his question, but decide to open up to him about how you’ve been left alone all your life with nobody there to comfort you, just alone.. by yourself, people using you and throwing you into the shade.

Mikado hearing this, getting angry. But not at you, at the careless people who decided to throw You! a precious human being into the shade and forgetting about you?!

Things get a little sad, and you thinking mikado will leave you for this has you so mistaken and distracted you almost forget that mikado pulls you into a tight hug

That hug turning into a cuddle, and he dries your tears as he wraps his cape around you as you both soundly fall asleep. <3 (what a cute couple)

next talent-swap design! it's mikado, who was assigned ultimate vocalist!

i have... mixed feeling about this design. i'm not very happy with the color scheme, and i think this design sacrifices some things that are pretty integral to his original design (such as the sun imagery, and also the changed mask shape means it can't be as expressive). i was going for a 'phantom of the opera'-type aesthetic, which i like in theory, but it was hard to pull off !

i already mentioned this on nikei's post, but i'll just say again that mikado wasn't designed with nikei in mind. so... they're not supposed to be in the same band (though it would be hilarious if they were). i think they'd have a (mostly one-sided) rivalry instead haha
