I hate not being allowed in sapphic spaces because I’m a trans guy. Saw a sapphic tumblr group and the rules said no men and no “chronically online queer discourse” so obviously I’m not welcome.

The only thing that I dislike about being transmasc is that now It’s seen as odd if I call myself gay for women. Being gay for women is a big part of my identity but because I’m a guy it’s not acceptable anymore. Outside of mogai spaces I have no idea the reaction I’ll get if I call myself gay while talking about my attraction to women. even in lgbtq spaces because I’m a guy now I can’t be sapphic.

My friend sent me a video that said send this to a trans lesbian in your life. I am not a lesbian but i appreciate the fact that this 6ft tall sporty straight man openly supports he/him lesbians. Like its such a debate in the queer community and this dude just went hey James is trans and likes women in a gay way and therefore im gonna send him this video
