other than sun and moon/north/south motif , stark and martell character parallels/contrast is just like
ned/Doran : both married women foreign to their regions, have deep melancholy over death of siblings, miscommunication with eldest daughter,dont want dead lannister kids on their conscious
Oberyn/Brandon : rash, seen as "Wild", fighters in contrast to quieter brother, many lovers, both die out of seeking justice for a dishonoured sister, illegitimate children ( Brandon not confirmed yet but its a high possibility)
Lyanna/Elia : both got trapped in towers by "dragons" , early tragic death, possible last effort chance in saving their sons (if YG is true but meh)
Cat/mellario : women unfamiliar with husband culture, death of first born son, argument over how family unit should be raised with husband
robb/quentyn : theme of marriage setting their doom, death in mother's homeland, attached to making their father's proud and upholding their father's expectation.
YG/ Jon : theme of legacy in relation to rhaegar and bastardy, father figure not who he seems, one seems to know who his parents are the other does not, questioning identity in relation to mother's family,really want to prrove their "fathers" legacy.
Jon/quentyn : said to resemble the plainer faces of their fathers/kinda set in the shadow of siblings/ back to back death in opposite elements(essos/fire - north/ice/steel), death in mother's homeland
Arianne/sansa : many plans and prospects in relation to marriage/romance being a big theme in their stories, retracing their fathers steps, princesses in tower, betrothed to incestuous dudes with anger issues, miscommunication and conflict with fathers, inheritance in conflict being a theme.
Sarella/Arya : both studying in places of knowledge and magic, swan and water motifs, death and healing possibly in relation to water include relations to plagues, really likes boats, symbolism in relation to their mothers,disguises as boys/or are mistaken for boys, archery is a presence in their story, possible maze connection to gain knowlegde (oldtown/citadel - House of B&W and the pathmakers maze/lorath)
Bran/trystane/rickon : dont know yet but rickon and trystane might die extremely young :c , bran might share parallels with sarella in discovering their roots in magic and having doran's dynamic of being disabled with a warrior esque brother(robb) dying.
