“Did you just say something? I must have missed it.”
“Turns out Amortentia is far more difficult to make than I’d anticipated.”
“I’ll trade you my Charms homework for your Transfiguration. I haven’t done mine yet, and I don’t know how to go about it.”
“I cant believe we’re actually past Halloween already, It’s nearly time to start Christmas shopping.”
A Date to the Dance [Kasper & Tatiana]
Kasper hated the idea of masquerades in general. But he was attending this one, because he had a date. He had spent extra time dressing up for this party just because of the fact that he had a date. Tatiana Thicknesse. He had never been particularly interested in her, but she had gone out of her way to ask him of all people, and who was he to say no?
Standing awkwardly at the corner of the party, he waited until he saw Tatiana come into the party to approach her. “Hey,” he spoke, “You look lovely.” It was a compliment that he knew she would want to hear, regardless of how true it was. He himself didn’t look too bad, he was one of those boys that clean up nicely, but he was still his same, unrecognizable, non standing out self.
He ran a hand awkwardly through his hair as he waited for her response, glad that she couldn’t see the blush crossing his face right about now. He was awful at these types of things and never had a date before, no one had ever been particularly interested in him.
“It might be a good thing I don’t have a date this year. The first years are way too fascinated with the candy. I’m getting the feeling that my night is ending with wrangling a lot of small children on a sugar high.”
