Diva by KurtsAnatomy
Kurt Hummel is a diva and, sometimes, he’s definitely not hesitant to show it.
One-shots in which Kurt Elizabeth Hummel is not afraid to say what he thinks…with hilarious, scary and badass results. With occasional help from the Cheerios and sometimes Sam, Kurt takes everyone down, leaving nothing left in his wake.
Note: Even though this is not marked as completed, it is a series a one-shots. There is at least one with Kurt and Rachel.

Or, “5 Times Where Kurt Hummel Got His Diva On In Public.” Chapter Five: Kurt puts his natural gifts of fabulous taste and public correction to work on a grand scale, and finds himself in need of emergency backup.
Hi, I’m looking for sassy canon Kurt, in Dalton or McKinley is fine. Plus point if there is “bitch-glare” Thanks!
It’s in Kurt’s nature to be a bit sassy and diva-like, and therefore authors don’t tag as such. Here are a few that might be what you are looking for.
Readers, if you know any additional fics where Kurt is sassy, AND it’s canon compliant and set in high school, please send it to our inbox. - HKVoyage

You know that kid that you don't really speak to, probably until it's the last minute? That kid for me was Kurt Hummel, and man, am I annoyed that I didn't speak to him earlier.
You know that kid that you don't really speak to, probably until it's the last minute? That kid for me was Kurt Hummel, and man, am I annoyed that I didn't speak to him earlier.
He was the kind of man that everyone wanted to know, yet no one would approach him. The first time I realised this was the first time I recognised that he wasn't angry or frustrated; he was lonely.
In school he was always the kid that didn't really speak much. People didn't really know much about him.
The next time I saw him was years later, when I was looking to buy a three-bedroomed flat with my best friend Wes. He had been growing his hair out, and it only occurred to me recently that we could have offered for him to live with us, as we both went to school with him. The sad thing is that if I wasn't so afraid of his rejection, I probably could have asked.
He was always quite tall, although it doesn't help that I was always quite small, and I felt even smaller by his presence. He always had his hair perfectly styled and there was a small scar on the inside of his right arm, if I remember correctly. And sometimes he would squeeze his hands into fists right in the middle of lesson on top of his table, a practice I thought was to warn off others, but was actually to control himself.
There are many things I could have said about him, but I think the most tragic is the fact that for the whole ten years he glimpsed in and out of my life, I always wondered what it would be like to be in his position.
The day that I finally spoke to Kurt Hummel could have been the last day of my life. But I finally found him, hidden deep beneath those designer clothes and guarded eyes.
-
I was working for an independent law firm and I had just finished my most recent case when I decided it was time to head out for lunch. It was 02:12PM by my watch, and not wanting to be disturbed, I left my phone on my desk and I picked up my jacket.
I gave a nod to Wes who I passed on my way to the elevator.
"I'll see you in an hour," he said, barely lifting his eyes from his notes.
Elevators have always been a little bit of a sore spot for me. I always thought it was because they're small, and I'm small so they make me feel smaller.
Maybe it's just because I don't like being too close to people I don't know.
As I stepped in, I let myself sigh in relief that it was empty, and I quickly pressed the button for the ground floor. I watched as the doors slid shut, and the number above it fell from 14 to 12 and stopped.
The doors opened slowly, revealing who I would have to share the three and a half minute journey down the building with.
Inwardly, I groaned, but outwardly, I smiled brightly at the person.
And it was him. He whom had been wiped from my mind for years, he whom I always kind of thought I superficially knew, and he smiled back at me.
He stepped into the elevator, pressed the ground floor button and then stood next to me, looking at his nails.
My entire body tensed and relaxed within three seconds; he hadn't recognised me.
The elevator halted quite suddenly, jerking me forwards. I crashed into the buttons, and my hands frantically pushed my body away from them. I looked behind and he was breathing fast, hands against the elevator wall.
The light flickered and settled again. Kurt Hummel stood up straight and smoothed his hands over the thighs of his trousers.
I, on the other hand, just watched him do this.
Three and a half minutes later, and we were still in between the tenth and ninth floors, with no one but each other to talk to, and four grey walls to stare at. Kurt Hummel was sat against the wall furthest from the door his eyes on the ceiling and perfectly silent, while I sat in a corner next to the door, trying not to look at him or make too much noise.
"The firefighter's will be on their way soon to get us out," Kurt Hummel said, speaking for the first time.
I startled a little bit, before coughing and nodding stiffly.
"I do remember you, you know," Kurt Hummel spoke again, his tone softening. "I also know you're gay."
"Oh-what?!" I asked incredulously, my mood changing quickly. "B-but, what?"
He only raised an eyebrow. "Oh, you're surprised."
I gaped at him. "Of course I'm surprised ... how wo-could you know?"
He smiled a bright smile at me. "Well, you've been glancing at my crotch this entire time and it was pretty obvious in high school too."
I scoffed, folding my arms and looking away from him. "You're not my type."
"Wow," Kurt drawled. "I'm offended."
My face must have been bright red when I faced him again. "I don't know who-"
But he was right in front of me, his face millimeters from mine and his knees next to my outstretched legs. I could taste the peppermint on his lips and practically feel his eyelashes brushing against mine. His hand came to touch my cheek softly, which threw me off guard completely. But then his lips grazed mine and I realised with a groan what I had never found with any other man I had met. Chemistry.
I had fully expected him to straddle my legs and start grinding against me but no, he simply pulled away from me and took his place at the other side of the elevator again.
He looked at me, straight into my eyes.
"So Blaine, now that we've got that finally out of the way. Tell me what you've been doing all these years."
Blaine Anderson. The boy with combat boots, black jeans and wife-beater vests. But then there was the smirk he wore, that just topped it all off from beneath his aviators.
Kurt Hummel knew who Blaine Anderson was, he just pretended he didn't. Of course he knew that Blaine Anderson had been expelled from his old school, and of course he had heard the rumours that he had been in a fight with a teacher. But Kurt Hummel does not move for anyone, which is why when they collided in the hallway, one of them had to give.
“So …” Blaine said softly.
Kurt only looked at him with a scowl on his lips.
“Are you going to apologise?” Blaine asked.
His voice shocked Kurt. He wasn't loud or abrasive, he was quiet but there was underlying danger lurking beneath it.
Kurt only raised an eyebrow at the statement. “You're forgiven,” he replied.
Blaine's mouth curled into a smirk. “I like this one,” he said to the Latino girl next to him.
Rolling his eyes, and with no time for this, Kurt Hummel stepped around Blaine and Santana, walking towards his class.
He only got about ten strides away when his name was called out again.
“Hey Hummel!” someone shouted.
Turning around, Kurt pursed his lips when he saw it was Blaine Anderson again.
“Nice ass,” Blaine continued.
Kurt sighed, but replied without really meaning to, “well I'm glad someone noticed, even if it is only you.”
Blaine grinned as Kurt turned away again and kept walking. He threw his arm around Santana's shoulders and started to walk again. “Hm,”
Santana raised an eyebrow. “What are you going to do?”
Blaine just smirked. “Nothing. I like him.”
“What are you going to do Blaine?”
Blaine stopped as Santana stopped. “Hey, don't you trust me? I'll leave him alone, but if he ever comes to me, it's game on.”
