April 22nd, 2026: A new geiko is born! Satoha (さと葉) of Nakasato (中里) in Kamishichiken is celebrating her erikae! She is Kamishichiken's first erikae in two years and the first from Nakasato in seven! As an incredibly graceful dancer, her skills are much needed in her small kagai and she will be a great asset as a geiko going forward! April 12th, 2022: Double congratulations are in order! Masano (満彩野) of Man (まん) in Gion Higashi has celebrated her erikae while Satoha (さと葉) of Nakasato (中里) in Kamishichiken has celebrated her misedashi! This is the first erikae for Gion Higashi since Hinayū’s back in 2018 and the first misedashi for Nakasato since Naomai, who also debuted back in 2018! Both women are sporting waves on their kimono, a symbol of change and new beginnings, which we hope will bring them good fortune to come! おめでとうさんどす満彩野さんとさと葉ちゃん ^o^!
