"The friendliness of the people, the freedom, the zero fear of crimes. Here, people really value doing good to one another. These things have a value more than money. It’s as simple as that, the life in Tulavu; very unique and very hard to find it anywhere else in the world.
"To have no country, it would be a sad, sad story. There will be no happiness by then for us because we never wanted to leave our country. But we are forced out by our Bigger Brothers just in the name of production.
"The dream that would make me most happy is when I hear some news that they found a solution for the rising of the sea level or the climate change. Then automatically I’ll know that my country won’t go underwater."
Tefaki says history relies just on one thing, Human Connection, the realization that our actions and our happiness is connected.
"A message from the kids of Tuvalu to the world is to please do something that can save our country. Because if our country sinks, then it will take away our happiness."
