I am kinda extremely worried about Donna before I even start this episode - I don't know what I will do if something happens to her annnnnnnd now Harvey is going to fight with Donna. Why can't this episode be happy like that one where Mike and Louis sorted out their shit in the car and were all cute.
It has only been 3 minutes and I am already 10 times more anxious about this episode.
I very much appreciate that Harvey completely dropped the topic of Mike and Donna when he saw that Jessica was upset. He then proceeded to make sure she was okay. He is a great friend, he may be portrayed as heartless and emotionless throughout the show i.e. "I am against having emotions..." and so on but he actually really does care. He cares about Donna thats why he is getting so worked up over this situation, he cares about Mike or he wouldn't continue to look out for him and he sure as hell cares about Jessica who helped him get to where he is today. Anyone who says that Harvey doesn't care is lying to themselves.
Harvey is fighting so hard for Donna and even though I have never shipped them that much I still think it is the cutest thing that has ever happened. Harvey is trying at every turn to save Donna and it is beautiful. Also Sarah Rafferty is fucking amazing, her portrayal of Donna in this situation is everything I would have thought it would be.
When Harvey goes to the DA and finds out about the felony fraud investigation, there are literally tears in his eyes. I think its because he can see no matter how many ways he tries to spin this he may not be able to get Donna off the hook and it scares him. I think it scares him because he might loose one of the few people he deeply cares about. But also he was lied to so I may just be over thinking this.
When Donna starts crying - I'm sorry but my heart just broke a little.
Mike is literally being thrown around this episode... he is being thrown around by Harvey like you are dropping the case oh wait no you are going to stick it to them. Then he goes and drops his client then has to go try get them back. Now the client is against him. Poor guy. But he has literally been kept in the dark this entire episode - he has been sent on a wild goose chase and a half to try and help out and he isn't even being kept in the loop.
JESSICA'S SISTER!!! Her sister is so down to earth and she isn't going to step lightly around you Jessica. I appreciate that they have someone who doesn't work for Jessica that is telling her what they really feel about all of this. She isn't directly in the situation but offers good advice about it all. Overall I am glad we met Jessica's sister and I hope she is in more episodes because someone needs to be Jessica's sounding board sometimes and it can't always be Harvey IGetOverEmotionalButIAmAgainstEmotions Specter.
Harvey please stop attacking the puppy, he don't know shit!
"But she's different!" - Omf. But honestly I think that the episode should be more focussed on the actual character Donna being in trouble rather than Harvey sharing his feelings and going crazy at everyone trying to fix things. Sure Harvey is one of the main characters but still this is ridiculous. Donna is clearly scared and embarrassed about what she did but in the first 20 minutes of this episode all we get is her lying to harvey in the first few minutes and then him yelling at her in his office about her lying to him.
Louis has been a real trooper this episode. I have always loved Louis' friendship with Donna and it broke my heart when they fought a few episodes back because of the whole Mike thing and he thought everyone had betrayed him. He was so scared that Harvey wouldn't be able to fix it and he knew it wouldn't be a good jail she went to and that he was worried is kinda cute. Their friendship is beautiful, that is all.
Donna is going to trial! Louis is angry. Harvey is angry. Louis is definitely right Harvey shouldn't be her lawyer because this is clearly about Harvey. I mean its not like harvey couldn't be helping the case but no he is literally acting like a child who is throwing a tantrum simply because he didn't get his own way. I love Harvey but he needs to take a chill pill before he makes this blow up in both his and Donna's face - Again. Donna being scared is not something I ever want to see again. Stop this now.
I can't concentrate on this Jessica stuff in the middle of this Donna stuff.
HARVEY PLEASE STOP ATTACKING DONNA! IF YOU CARE ABOUT HER SO MUCH JUST STOP! Harvey you have kept Mike in the dark this entire episode don't just storm into his office and demand that he has something for you. He has been doing the job you gave him and been running all over the place trying to keep up with your constant changing decisions cause you keep managing to screw the pouch on yourself. Please stop being a twat about this. Ugh if i didn't know any better I would swear he was a toddler throwing a tantrum right now because his favourite toy was taken away from him.
Once again - I have never really shipped Donna and Harvey but this end scene is hella cute. Also thank you for apologising Harvey or I would have climbed inside my computer and slapped you silly.
"you know I love you" HOW CAN I BE SO AFFECTED BY THIS WHEN I DON'T SHIP THEM! MAYBE I DO NOW I DON'T KNOW
Anyways That was my first rambling/musing/not-so-review but yeah I chose one hell of an episode to start on. If you read this thank you.
Ok. Not gonna go into spoilers but that episode wrecked me. If anyone out there is looking to partner up for emotional support you are more than welcome to hit up my ask box. We can cry our feels out together.
