Huh... They thought they'd already walked past their dad's shop. Maybe they just hadn't been paying as much attention to the world as they thought they were. Probably true, honestly. They just... Were kind of numb. Both because they slept horribly, sleeping on the raw sand of a beach isn't comfortable after all, and because they are... Filled with a lot of thoughts.

A lot of them are not good. And they just make them feel number.

They did stop in their tracks when that hand came onto their shoulder. A slight tilt up of their head, and they saw that it was Rose. A relatively new friend, all things considered. One that at least made them feel safe.

" I'm alright, Rose. " Their head tilts back down, eyes focusing on really nothing, but staring in the direction of the ground nonetheless. " Just passed out on the beach by accident. "

But yet, despite saying that... They'd do nothing to stop her from leading them somewhere. They just didn't have the energy to. Besides, why would it matter? It's not like they get to decide where they're going most times of the day anyway. What's one more time?

Her forehead bumps against their side with a huff. Scritches for the dragon gf please. She requires Kris brand affection.

They hadn't expected this, to tell the truth. They don't stop it, but she might be able to tell that it took them just a second to realize what was going on. Their arms lifted out of her way so she could get comfortable on their lap.

But, once all is settled, it's scritches she'll get. One hand comes down to do it while the other rests against her back.
