Attention Halt and Catch Fire fans!! Many of us are frustrated by how quiet AMC has been about this show. No merch, no DVD/Blu Ray release, still no season 3 premiere date. What's going on? We need help figuring out what we, as fans, can do about this. Please read and share our blog and let us know if you have any ideas for what we could do to help promote this show and maybe also get AMC's attention. Sometimes I encounter a b***tch or two whether it is in my personal life or on any of my blogs.

I used to react, then I decided ( only today ) to adapt the epic facial expressions of Joe Macvillan ( the name belongs to me :P ) to tell you all in a funny/ fan way how my face looks like in some situations

When people tell you what to do ..

When someone starts talking like they know everything about anything

When someone fuels arguments online by posting crap and then hashtags #peace and #love ( HA!) I do that sometimes :P

When people think anything and everything is about them ( bitch please there are a bigger world than you I worry about)...

When someone post a bitch post and you know its directed to you and then you say something like “oh that bitch” but then you do the same thing yourself...

When someone says any kind of “shit” on any realm, real life or online...

They call Macvillan, Hoe Macvillan!

When someone do the same things they PREACH others not to do...

When someone tries to be funny, but THEY ARE NOT - A+ for efforts!

When someone says shit you do not like or keep arguing with you..

When someone posts long ass posts and you complain how they post long ass posts but then you do the same exact thing... you feel like...

Basically in life / online be a JOE to have a one badass life ;)

It’s time for Macmillan Monday again

TBT to the best character the TV industry have ever witnessed - and I am not just saying that because I am a fan! it is a given fact that Joe Macmillan is “ a manifestation of an era that most of us did not witness, and it just a two dimensional picture in our minds” . 

Lee managed to give this character a 3 dimensional angle and give the era the surreal feeling:

 “One of things I found interesting was playing a character who is the age my father was then; seeing him as a three-dimensional human rather than just my dad. And while you could say it’s a period piece, I would argue that the history is too recent. The weird mishaps and missed connections that happen on this show would never happen now, because people have cellphones. Cellphones have ruined storytelling.” - Lee Pace, The Guardian

Lee always finds a way to give a character more depth and complexity than it appears. He did it with Thranduil and he is doing it again with Macmillan.

Well, now that season two is over, we fans are in the most harrowing part– waiting to see if we get a season 3 or not.

The save Halt and catch Fire site has a lot of good suggestions for helping the show, but the one I liked best is making the HCF content on AMC’s website the most watched content on there. Unfortunately, ratings have not only been abysmal, they don’t take into account the true interest in the show.

I propose– let’s rewatch HCF on amctv.com all this week, show ‘em we can’t get enough of it. All you need to do to watch is log in using the same credentials that you do to pay your cable bill online.

If you don’t have that, then maybe watch all the bts extras and other halt amc content available on the website. Reblog their content. Talk about it on social media. Let’s give them some data to back up our claims that we watch and love the show.
