i'm gonna be vulnerable for a moment and take this oppurtunity to say: i did not expect it would be so draining to do multiamory march this year? it's generally draining creatively- that's why i take a break from writing after the event every year- but completing every prompt in march got away from me this time. i've never had to hold down a job while doing the challenge before. retail is such a hollowing, thankless, manipulative, capital-driven affair, dude. there's so many sounds all the time and everyone expects a rando employee to parent their bratty child for them. not to mention the company i work for further complicates things by having this glow of syrup-y sweet faux feminism that's especially dysphoric. #GRLPWR but also if our employees show their shoulders or wear shorts we are burning them at the stake<3
tl;dr work keeps me busy when i'm there and exhausted when i'm not. still having m&m prompts i haven't finished, even now when we're in may, makes my skin feel itchy. i do hope i can get out the late projects soon.

emphasis on rough draft... i realized i don't really jive with the way i initially wrote this. it's likely i may do a complete overhaul and rewrite it entirely. i've been musing more and more on how au!cisco would actually behave as a dom and how au!savibarry would go about being submissive to their boyfriend's every whim. i want to play more with cisco's canonical thing for dressing up. i want to write cisco as a multitasker dom. sweet, coddling, and jarringly cruel. making savibarry dress up for him as foreplay and critiqueing every out-of-place hair or boring outfit. i want to write cisco as much more... creative with pain play than i wrote him as here. and i certainly want barry to be a lot more at his mercy than what i wrote.

“Nuh-uh. I’m boss man tonight. Okay?”
Savitar and Barry looked back at Cisco. He had just gotten off the bed, snuck away from the nearly identical men trying to flank him into submission. Declared himself the dominant one between the three of them. They hadn’t even gotten undressed yet! Barry pulled himself up to pout up at Cisco— with a hum, he just started to smile. Savitar, though, was less enticed by this idea.
“We can do that,” Barry said. “I like when you take control.”
Savitar’s fingers twitched, as if he was itching to wrap his hand around Cisco’s throat. To be fair… he was.
Barry hummed. Again. “I don’t think you’ve ever done that with Savi here, have ya?”
“You might be onto something there.” Cisco put a palm over the side of Barry’s face. The same side where Savitar carried his scars. “I mean… has he ever played powerless with anyone yet?”
“Well, he’s me, so he knows the ropes. What do you have to say about it, Savi? You ever tried it now that you’re revived and reformed?”
Savitar glared at Barry. He seemed so used to Cisco’s rough hand against his skin. Like he was no more than Cisco’s pet. This role was as easy to Barry as pretending to be someone dangerous and violent. Well, Barry could be those things if he let it get that far— Savitar himself was proof of that. But here, in the bedroom of his partners, he could exercise that part of them in a way that gave pleasure with the pain. Yet he trained himself to act so well as someone his lovers could bend and break. He delighted in it.
That was fine for him. Sure. It worked in Savitar’s favor, anyway. But what possible reason could Savitar have to pretend he couldn’t break Cisco in turn?
“I haven’t.” Savitar looked back and forth between the two of them. “What do you get out of this?”
Cisco laughed in his face. “Uh… enhanced leadership skills?”
Savitar furrowed his brow. Barry patted the spot on the bed next to him, trying to get Savitar to crawl to the bottom of the bed.
“It’s a good outlet,” he said. “Y’know, for when you feel like you’ve got the world on your shoulders. Letting someone else be the leader, even just in here… it’s freeing. You don’t have to be yourself. It’s black-and-white in this sorta thing. You’re the victim and that’s that. Then it’s over, and everyone’s happy. We don’t have to… always be the one with blood on our hands.”
“Blood’s more Sara’s thing, but.” Cisco shrugged his shoulders. “You get it.”
“Do you really just want this for better leadership skills?” Savitar asked him.
Cisco bit his lip. “... When you’ve been made to feel useless and powerless so much, it’s nice having partners that’ll let you be the big bad for the night.”
“We really don’t have to if you’re uncomfortable,” Barry said. “We can play a different game.”
Cisco let go of his hold on Barry. “Or no games at all.”
At that, Barry pouted another time. But Savitar knew he’d go with it if Savitar said that simple two-letter word. Barry was good. Cisco was good. Maybe… maybe this could be a safe way for them to get their revenge. For how much Savitar hurt them. It was something they deserved, wasn’t it? It was something he deserved. He deserved to be helpless to Cisco’s commands. He deserved to be frail against the bedsheets as Cisco took him for all he was worth.
Or, at least, he could play that part.
Savitar took the spot next to Barry.
“It sounds like your version of domination is the sadist type,” Savitar said. “I could be into that.”
“Coolio.” Cisco booped Savitar’s nose. “Safe word is core competency.”
Savitar gave a smug scoff. “Does Sara know you stole her safe w—” he started, but he got cut off.
Just like that, there was a red imprint on the good side of his face. The sound made him wince. Barry nearly fell off the bed from the suddenness of it all.
Cisco had slapped him. Cisco had slapped Savitar.
Not enough to break anything, not enough to leave a bruise that lasted as long as the burn scars. Not with the same hardness and vigor Savitar would’ve used against his past victims. But it stung. It made a mark.
Cisco used the hand he had just taken against Savitar, to comb his long hair behind his ear. He waited a moment. There was an unsure light in his big, brown eyes. Like he was expecting Savitar to object.
Savitar, though, was too busy with all the blood suddenly rushing to his dick.
“Yes,” Barry honest-to-God squeaked. “Yeah, for sure.”
Savitar merely nodded. Oh, he forgot how good this felt. He nearly forgot what the word fear truly meant.
“Savi, honey, I’m gonna need an enthusiastic yes. Then we can move on to the real stuff.”
“Yes.” Savitar tried to talk normally, yet it came out as a beg. “God, yes.”
Cisco reached down to rub his thumb across Savitar’s throat. “Must be nice to have this change of pace with people you trust, huh?”
Savitar swallowed. His mouth had never felt this empty before.
“Barry?” Cisco looked away from Savitar and it felt like he might drown without those eyes on him. “Hold him down.”
In a flash, Savitar was pinned on his back. His clothes were suddenly strewn about the floor. Barry was on top of him. His nails dug into Savitar’s shoulders. Savitar had never seen such a zealous, hungry grin on his other half’s face.
Savitar heard the sound of someone’s belt unbuckling, of pants falling to the ground. But he couldn’t see Cisco with the back of his head forced against the mattress and Barry blocking his view. He felt Cisco’s pristine hands pull at his ankles.
“Move,” Cisco demanded. It wasn’t for Savitar to listen to.
Barry rolled next to Savitar. Then he moved to let Savitar’s head fall into his lap. He grabbed Savitar’s wrists and yanked them up into a straight line. He couldn’t wiggle out of Barry’s grip. He didn’t even try.
Who said he wanted to?
Cisco pulled Savitar’s legs apart.
“I didn’t think you’d warm up to this so quickly, man. I mean, you’ve really warmed up…”
He still talked like Cisco, was the thing. Somehow, that made it more delicious. He didn’t need to be as pretentious as Reverb to hold the room in the palm of his hands. He just had to ask, all sweet and flirty, and they were nothing more than putty. He slapped Savitar and then called him honey and made sure this was something he wanted. He’d never seen Cisco like this before.
It was cute, aggressive. Maybe even addictive.
“Barry, quick favor?” Cisco held onto Savitar’s ankles tighter. “Get my boytoy warmed up for me, ‘kay?”

In The Heavenly War, Bartholomew couldn't pick a side and so he was split in two, made angel and one of the fallen.
That unfortunate disgraced fragment of his soul becomes the angel of death, while the other Barry gets to keep his station in heaven. Baptized in fire, and viciously marked as one of hell's own to spite his previous ambivalence, he’s forced to renounce all of who he was and take on a new name: Savitar.
His doubts were rooted in concern for his charges, wanting to do away with the arbitrary restrictions that prevented him from helping those who suffered, but even now, as a demon, he finds they have to follow rules. As above, so below. Duty is the only thing he's left with, considered a traitor and shunned by the rest of the hell. But he's faster than anything or anyone - he prides himself on the fact that no one escapes death. He is swift and unforgiving, sticking resolutely to The Plan that he's learnt all too well is futile to resist.
Barry is similarly shunned, though the heavenly bodies do so in a different manner. They're stiffly formal, distancing themselves from him with civility and a barrier of regulation. The time he spends in heaven is marred with their unreasonable expectations and constant disappointment in him. Heaven's love starts to feel like empty words, making his task on Earth his only solace. In his effective exile, he constantly chases after humans, known to them as the angel of love, Cupid. Giving the miracle of love to all, except himself.
The few humans he allows himself to grow attached to over the years always succumb to the inevitable – to Savitar. He despises Savitar for snatching away people's loved ones with no quarter given, no leniency to allow precious seconds to say their goodbyes. His actions twist Barry's gift into the exquisite torture of grief for those left behind. He hates Savitar so much more than he can comprehend; as a part of himself he can't reconcile, even after aeons.
The divine plan turns out to have a strange sense of humor, because Barry is tricked into aiming an arrow at Savitar. Of course, Savitar is fast and it only grazes him. But now, after millennia of avoidance, they are drawn back to each other. Unable to thwart the miracle performed, they must figure out how to find balance and love their soul in its entirety. Because even though they are split, neither is wholly good or wholly evil, an imperfect split agreed as a punishment; for Barry delivers the heartbreak of love and Savitar has in him the mercy of death.
Savitar=Barry. Barry wanted Iris dead and he wanted KF to be his equal. "We can BOTH be Gods." Enough said. In 2X23 when Flash was fighting Zoom, someone asked, "Which one's Barry?" H.R. said, "BOTH OF THEM." NOT that's one half of Barry, they are divided into two halves, they are EQUALLY BOTH BARRY. BARRY WANTED AND STILL WANTS IRIS DEAD. BECAUSE NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. He has always compartmentalized and still does.
