It’s really interesting to me that Hunter steals Jay’s secret identity and his hero name. He didn’t *need* to use Jay’s identity specifically, so it really mainly would’ve been to psychologically torture him. And Jay’s reaction when he says his name in 2x23… He leans towards Hunter… Definitely gives me the impression he doesn’t get to hear his name very often, if at all (and given Hunter’s dislike of his own name, it’s not too surprising). Hell, his mask makes it so he can’t even say his name to himself, he has to tap it out on the glass like he does for Jesse and Barry. As well as stealing it for himself, denying Jay his name completely was likely another part of the torment.

And if this is something he does to his trophies… Wonder how/if this could’ve been applied to Barry if he became one
