i think if sqh were to flirt with sj it’d be a lot of taking whatever (unfairly disproportionate) critique about sqhs general life skills in an ‘ah yes you’re right luckily i have the venerable sj, (x)’s seemingly delicate but most sharp- ow! hey-! stop shen jiu that hurts-ack! hey!’ meanwhile sjs idea of flirting is like using psychological warfare to change his most upsetting habits that also happen to benefit sqh’s overall (sad, miserable) little life.

sqh/tlj is objectively sooo funny bc i feel like in a friendship they’re very much on the same page and vibe frequency but i think trying to get past that into romance would just be funny asf. like how do u flirt with someone who u routinely regularly digested varying levels of the nastiest sloppiest outrageously ridiculous smut with? does tlj try to mimic the things sqh writes and sqh is just like wow so that’s how it looks irl 😮‍💨 or when tlj pulls out CRAZY lines sqh is like oh my god can you say that again i want to write that down it was bars???? or do u guys think tlj like tries to baby trap sqh like a normal person

i’ve been freezing lately so i drew sqh catfish dating au!

i imagine sqh starts dressing (and consequently posting/catfishing online) more fem to prove a point that getting e-dumped by your e-girlfriend in your e-relationship that’s really an e-scam is not a common or normal experience that can happen to anyone but sqh through many varying unrelated circumstances that without any forewarning whatsoever somehow instantly began to snowball and spiral into by-no-means-any-actions on sqh’s behalf results in sqh being the e-girlfriend who is most definitely absolutely e-scamming some poor netizen into an e-relationship only to e-dump them. at this point sqh is too involved to casually be like ‘haha this was all a social experiment’ his way out of it.

blah blah Plot points blah blah more Situations that ultimately all this results in sqh receiving far too much money from someone who clearly has no idea what the reasonable priceline for milk is much less a reasonable price line for clothes, and sqh feels a strange sense of responsibility for this schmuck because if they ran into a real e-scammer they would be getting conned so much worse!!. this continues on for at least three months. in this sqh would be transmasc. this does not help save sqh.

hihi!!! i LOVE jiuplane, call it projection but there’s something about someone a lil (lot.) mean dedicated to fixing your life, nd i think playing with their dynamics could offer suuuch good insight for how they would take care of each other. n e ways i drew a lil quick thing up for them and a lil drabble thing because im dedicated to the cause 🫡

“if you were to develop a spine against doing the work of other departments perhaps your back wouldn’t sound like a firecracker” sj speaks as she sorts through the documents laying on sqh’s desk that by all accounts she isn’t supposed to be reading. her voice is delightfully derisive, both at the documents and sqh. sqh loves it.

though, sqh notes with joy and more than a bit of smugness, sj doesn’t at all truly avoid her touch as she lazily pushes her chair out, hands wrapping around sj’s lower arm and looking up with big cow eyes, voice already turning sweet and wheedling as it does when qinghua has to beg (and beg, and beg) for lqg to properly fill out monthly forms or when avoiding mqfs increasingly pointed questions about just how she knows about this departments issues and this is something not just anyone is privy to, qinghua. “and how lucky i am that i have such a selfless, venerable, kind shen-jiejie to defend me,” sqh teases, quickly dodging the threat of a hit with amusement. “won’t my jiejie take pity on her foolish shimei just this once?” sqh continues, batting her eyes and angling herself just so sj has the perfect downward view of her.

sj raises an unimpressed eyebrow, though sqh is all too trained to recognizing the way sj’s eyes hold slight amusement.

liushang is them matching each others freak lowkey. like omg yes lqg go run ur 5643 marathon this week, sqh will NOT be doing that but he’s here to support u and cheer u and ur sister on!! lqg doesn’t understand why sqh gets so into his writing yet is shocked when lqg reads it from behind him (he does not understand why him asking about quivering peaches with the morning dew on them elicited that response, but whatever.) but he built him a low desk by hand with compartments for his every need. sqh regularly sends lqg sword restoration videos and brings home gnarly looking swords that he got because he ‘knows a guy’. lqg dresses up with him for cons. i just feel like they both love so wholeheartedly and are THE example of loving the house and its crow

sorry i'm still on my tianshang agenda. guys i need tlj to be built like a bear and just as hairy!! i need sqh, unbound by the system and so thrilled to see his oc (!) lore (!!) play out irl (!!!) that he flies a lil too close to the sun and stumbles upon dilf-in-progress (post mountain entrapment) tlj. i need sqh, terrified and talking out of his ass when caught red handed loitering around to somehow build a rapport (?) with this definitely not heavenly demon emperor nd his cutie patootie son.

yadda yadda at some point seeing tlj with his top off and he just has sooo much chest hair that sqh physically has to remove himself from the situation and writes 20k of unusually detailed filth over it with two characters that sound suspiciously familiar. the reason tlj would still have to go under the mountain is to not completely destroy timeline but also bc i think he needs a few screws loose so he can have increasing convoluted attempts of (further?) baby trapping sqh

i had this lil au idea where sqh being pulled into an otome equivalent of pidw, nd while he obviously is still pushed into the body of canon fodder the overall initial feeling is like omg hell yea my blorbos are getting together!! obviously age old plot twist of him being the target but it has been SO fun imagining ways in which the love interests are Weird and Off putting in the ways they go about hunting him. it’d obviously be one of those games where you CAN die and over the smallest choices and the kicker being because financial issues and all around crowdfunding fell flat he has a lot of notes that were maybe never fully actualized into the game (just initial concepts) and the system has pulled from everything so there’s no real way of knowing what is and isn’t going to upset a character. ❤️

an ex would’ve been that lbh’s route is arguably the worst route to mess up because his bad ending is not fun at all! and that his meter would be SO easy to raise to a certain point but after it’s like pulling teeth and can drop for any reason, there would’ve been implications that the food or things he makes (the love interest) either had his own blood in it or other things, and then other chars similarly just had weird shit they did.

torn on sqh looking actually as close to his age an immortal master can look vs looking young, and that’s bc there’s so much fun for both situations. liiiike, idk i think sqh is constantly overlooked/underestimated and yea he’s for sure always trying to not be linked to being at the scene of the crime, but also at a glance he just doesn’t look like (or act!) like someone you’d take serious or even want to take serious. nd i think for him that would be such a double edged sword and for me it would be fun asf.

i had a teacher who was maybe 4’8? being generous. i think part of why we took her so serious (apart from the obvi) is because she had such a great disposition, you did not want to be the kid who was an asshole to the nice teacher who didn’t do anything to anybody. i don’t think sqh has that!! because he prioritizes being sneaky and unnoticeable. so it’s like yes he is overlooked often by his own design, but that should also have the consequence of him having to fight to be seen as an authority within his peers because he hasn’t exactly ‘shown’ them a reason to treat him equivalent??
