I keep seeing people say "Oh, daryl can't be queer." Because he's an inherently strong character. I think people see queer people as being more feminine and femininity as a weakness/being weak. Like hello kissing a dude won't make his ability to stab a guy disappear.
Also, he's so ace coded, and I'm like 99% sure norman said he plays him in a somewhat ace way even if unintentionally
I saw something that was like "character so badass you forget they're gay" with a photo of Jesus's underneath it, and it irked me a little. Like his liking of men should take away the skills and strengths he possesses? Especially when it clearly doesn't.
