hi! I saw that you have room references, but are there any good references for exteriors/architecture of houses/buildings on the island? Is it common for people to have houses there, or is it mostly inns and the like?

It's mentioned a few times but the village barely has space for the amount of people that are moving there because of the dungeon. (daydream hour 5 and Adventure's Bible)

"Housing on the island is in serious demand, so even with a lot of money renting a spacious room isn't easy."

None of them have a house in the Island even tho they're some of the most successful adventurers there, the characters with houses in Melini village is Tansu's family and the governor I think? I think it's safe to assume all the other adventurer's that arrived there after the dungeon was discovered live in inns or rented rooms. The ones that have houses like Chilchuck have the house outside the island (in Kahka Brud) and stay in smaller places when adventuring.

Here's some Melini Village architecture I could find

From far away (ch 1)

Streets (ch 1, ch 10, ch 22 and ch 45)

Governor Manor (ch 22 and 45)

A "temple" (it's the resurrection center it connects to the dungeon thru a hole on the floor, ch 22)

Outside the village I imagine (ch 82)

That's what I could find where Melini Village shows up. If you want to check the chapters are 1, 10, 22, 45 and 82, there's some more panels I didn't add here cause they're too close up or hard to see, and some in Kahka Brud (in ch 82) so you might want to check those too.

omg you're so sweet thank you?? 🥺 i know it's not the end of the world since my family can reschedule our plans and i will still get the game, after all, but it just sucks to be looking forward to something and then have it fall apart last minute. but omg yeah i am so excited to get hades 2!! i never played it when it was in early access because i played the first game on switch, so i wanted to wait to be able to get this one on switch as well. but i spent a ridiculous amount of hours on the first one, i was so obsessed i think i unlocked just about every single little bit of dialogue in it.

💠 for your s/i and venti, diluc, kaeya, and whoever you consider the traveler to be (aether/lumine)

Hi this is very old but I hope you don't mind Venti: This is Ara's first romantic partner, the beloved breeze-bard that found it when it was traumatized and half wild in the woods and purposely sought out its company until it was willing to come with him to visit the city of Mondstadt. Their relationship is polyamorous in nature- Venti is a god of freedom, and they're more than comfortable with their setup, but Ara will always credit Venti with being the one who initially cracked open its heart so that it could learn to love freely again, and Venti will always say that Ara was the thing that made Barbatos's waking and re-entry to the world so much softer and easier. They're crazy about each other. Best friends, soulmates, happily, stupidly, devotedly in love- and Venti loves to wingman whenever Ara is interested in somebody new! Diluc: Ara has a lot of respect for him! It deeply appreciates his determination to stick to his principles and moral code, and likes his sense of vigilante justice, which is something it also possesses. Early on, it found him kind of intimidating. Quiet and intense. and he found it...uncouth. A bit too loud, a bit too externally emotional. Over time though, they found they agreed on a great many personal ideologies, and came to understand each other more. They're not exceptionally close, but they're friends who respect and trust each other, and have faith in each other's intentions. Ara will never out the identity of the Darknight Hero! Kaeya: Kaeya and Ara have a slightly more...complicated, relationship. In large part due to Ara's deep skepticism around the Knights of Favonius. It respects what they want and claim to be, but... doesn't like the control they exert over the city and its perceptions. Ara has a severe unease about authority, so what is functionally a military group does not appeal. It also finds Kaeya secretive and hard to read in a way that is a bit unnerving, but it can't deny that he seems to have good intentions and a noble heart. It's closer to Diluc, but they're on "mostly positive acquaintance" terms!

Aether: That's its baby brother. Ara was someone Aether met very quickly upon coming to Mondstadt, as he ran into it in the wilds surrounding the city on a hunting trip. It helped Amber escort him back, and immediately found itself curious and kind of protective of him. Something about his care for others and the clear complexity of his situation struck a chord with it, and upon resolving the Stormterror crisis, it promptly announced that it would be coming with him to help on his journey. Ara remains a lasting companion to Aether, at times leaving to do its own thing when there's nothing dramatic going on, but returning to his side whenever something serious arises. It loves him, and can and will guard him with its life- and very nearly does.
