Saw you're commentary on the use of terrible euphemisms in smutfic, and I had to tell you all about the comedy smutfic I wrote a few years back where I was literally googling horrible slang to use for the laughs. I managed to fit about a half dozen in to a 600 word fic, my favorite being 'weapon of ass destruction' and I've never been prouder of a shitty piece of writing in my life.

Chocolate and corn flavored white rabbit candy seem blasphemous. I've only seen red bean and matcha but I think classic is still the best. I also really like the edible rice paper wrapped around the candy

RED BEAN, that was the other one. I grabbed a few red bean ones, but I couldn’t remember what flavor they were later. 

Sadly, in America they appear to have done away with the edible rice paper. Or at least the two I’ve eaten so far didn’t have it. I was disappointed!

Oooh, also, be like Sam. Learn how to keep and maintain several internet aliases. It will save you no end of grief and friend drama!

It’s true that having at least one username that very few to no people in brickspace know about can be extremely cathartic. Don’t vent about your friends or family where they can find you! :D

oh man Sam, 1) this was great, and 2) I have acquired a 20 year old duckling and I'm like.....Is This Parenting so this was also timely for *me*  (the duckling is a person)

Aw, congrats on your very own Large Duckling! Parenting is rough but at least one that big can usually feed themselves :D

As the parent of a teenager, I just wanted to tell you that this was great advice to give to a teenager. 10/10, well done Mr. Sam.

My friend once answered the door for the JW’s with a massive nosebleed, while his brother had some kind of horror movie playing, volume cranked just out of site around the corner. So there’s this young dude with bloody hands and face and a girl screaming in the background… they never came back. ������

They stopped coming around for a time because my sister blew up at them for calling my parents sinners and told them they were being very unchristian but they’ve gotten brave again.

As someone who is who is literally the parent of a teenager this is how you handle that situation. Now I personally would have taken a moment to remind them that I am not an appropriate target for their frustrations just because I'm conveniently there, but besides that this was solid. Bullying, berating and railroading your children are not good parenting methods. (Unless someone's life or wellbeing is in immediate and severe danger I mean)

As a 21-year-old psych student, my knowledge in parenting is fairly limited (though I have taken a number of development classes, that doesn’t change real world experience). So I really appreciate you saying that this is what you would do (and I didn’t even think about the appropriate target for frustrations, but I’ll probably use it in the future), so thank you!!!!
