Excited

I am beyond excited to start my new job as a nurse in as little under one week at one of the most widely known children’s hospital in central America. I’ve always wanted to become a nurse ever since I was young. I was NICU baby myself, and seeing the compassion and reward that comes to taking care of children is what makes me happy.

I am grateful for the nurse residency program because I am scared as shit going out there in the real world and hoping I don’t fuck up. This one year long residency program will help gradually set me in my new role as a pediatric nurse. Who goes to say that I won’t fuck up though? I’m pretty sure I will. I just don’t want to fuck up in a the worst way ever.

Going into this job got me feeling scared, anxious, eager and excited. I hope to meet some cool “Meredith Greys” along the way and I cannot wait to save some precious lives.
