God, they were lucky that Phil had missed the video conference --- the last thing she needed was for Wanda to accidentally spill the beans about him still being alive. “What brought you out here looking for me, Wanda? You’re an Avenger now, so don’t be afraid to ask for anything you might need.” Maria hoped the question would keep her distracted enough to not ask more about the meeting. And if the younger woman was worried about something, better to handle it now.
