52 Weeks, 52 Monsters #8 - Collapsible Combatroid
A method I use for coming up with monsters sometimes is simply drawing a shape, then seeing what I can turn it into. That's why this guy looks like a hot dog.
It serves a function though; these units can retract their arms and legs and close up their faces, turning into an easily storable pod. These pods are then stacked in the bays of warships and dumped en masse into the target city.
They look a little silly (I realized after I drew it that it kind of looks like the cover of a David Lubar book..."Rampage of the Robo-Weenies" maybe) but their armor is quite sturdy and their blasters are stronger than any weapon of Earth. So imagine seeing this four foot tall sausage-bot and saying "what the hell is that stupid looking thi-" and then you get a huge hole blown through you.
Then hundreds more of them drop down, unfold and commence Operation Kill Fucking Everyone.

Freaky! Watching Android Waking Up for the First Time & Answering Questions
Hello Officer, how can I help you? Watching this lifelike Robot waking up is actually terrifying. If you imagine a future where robots similar to the one featured in the video are policing the streets it’s bone chilling. Cold heartless creatures with one reason for living. Enforcing laws at all cost, it’s the thing of nightmares and quite a few Sci Fi movies. That smile at the end, lol. It…
