Theo and Scott are in a small town waiting for a meeting during a diplomatic tour. Scott insults Theo underappreciation of the festivities and Theo decides to retaliate in bloody vengeance.

Theo gets whammied with a truth curse that can't be broken until he's spoken his most vulnerable truth to the person he cares for most. Scott is just a little confused about who that is, but he has Liam there to help him set things straight with Theo. Metaphorically speaking.
(“Okay, so what do you need me for, exactly? Do you need me to like break-in and hold him down or something? He is a little slippery, I guess I can see why you’d need help. Though not why you’d need me when Derek lives in the same building,” Liam pointed out. Scott blinked in confusion.
“What? No, Liam, I need you to let him confess to you.”
Liam stared at him unblinkingly. “You’re serious.”
“Yes,” Scott snapped. Liam taking Theo’s comfort so cavalierly upset him.
Liam’s lip twitched, and a moment later his composure broke and he started to laugh uproariously. Scott scowled at him. “This isn’t funny Liam!”
“I-it rea-really is though,” Liam snorted. “What makes you think th-that I’m who Theo cares about m-most?”
Scott’s anger started to fade in the face of his confusion at the way Liam was reacting. “Aren’t you?”)

Theo swallowed and shrugged. “You know me, I’m not that good at following orders.”
Scott’s lips twitched. “We both know that’s a lie.”
Theo stared, stunned, and a startled laugh escaped him. “I thought we weren’t talking about that.”
“Maybe we should if it’ll get you to trust my decisions,” Scott said pointedly.
“I’ll respect your decisions when they’re not stupid ones,” Theo retorted.
Scott smiled and Theo relaxed. Looks like he wasn’t about to be ordered to leave. “Want something to drink?” Scott gestured to the punch. Theo looked and wrinkled his nose.
“Is it any good?”
“Terrible,” Scott beamed and then guided him over. Theo took the cup that Scott offered him a moment later with hesitation. Scott had already taken a sip of his own though so Theo sighed and figured, when in Rome.
(or, there's a low threat to the halloween dance from hunters so scott stakes it out without backup. theo takes offense to that idea and shows up anyway. soft bois ensues.)

There was blood everywhere.Scott didn’t know where to look first, eyes skipping over the scene automatically until they rested on Theo. He was slumped on the ground, blank eyes staring at his hands. Scott stepped cautiously towards him, skirting around the body.

It's Halloween, which means it's time for teenagers to pull dumbass stunts in the name of a good scare. Too bad this Halloween Scott, Theo, and their friends bit off just a bit more than they could chew.
(“What was that?” Kira sputtered, voice thick with fear.
“Oh god this really is a horror movie,” Mason’s voice followed a second later. “We’re all gonna die!”
“Shut up, no one is dying!” Malia bit out. The false bravado was obvious to everyone as even Malia’s voice was tinged with panic.
“We just summoned a demon I’m pretty sure we’re gonna die!” Mason snapped back.
“Then where is it?” Corey asked. Everyone looked at him and Corey shrunk a little under their gazes. “I mean,” he licked his lips and gestured with his head to the circle. “If it worked, where’s the demon?”
Everyone looked to the center of the circle where true to Corey’s words, there was no demon standing.
“No, no, I definitely got it right, it should be there,” Stiles said.
“Well, clearly you didn’t, since there’s no demon!” Theo snapped. “Where is it, Stiles?” )

Its the end of the world as they know it and Scott and Theo still have to deal with hunters on top of the zombies. It's only a little inconvenient. And their timing? Great, as always.
Scott is not handling it well. (Neither is Theo)

“Ya know, getting stabbed wasn't really on my bucket list,” Theo gasped.
“Shut up,” Scott breathed harshly as he dragged Theo up the stairs. “You’re not dying.”
“Says you,” Theo muttered. Scott ignored him and eyed the landing to the third floor. The stairs had crumbled away at some point and the only way to get from the second floor to the third was to... “Oh god,” Theo groaned, knowing what Scott was about to do. He bit back a cry as Scott gathered him closer and jumped.
