Hi there! Haven't seen you in ages! I'm dipping my toes back into drawing. Here's a picture of my character, Schabziger :) The caption says: "Who the f*ck laced the punch with laxatives!? OH YOU BI-!". Just because Schab's a sweetheart at heart, doesn't mean she's not allowed to cause a little trouble :>
Lamb Chops baked with Swiss Schabziger and cream cheese.
In case of emergency, smell cheese.
Would you believe, cheese being used in place of smelling salts? Scout Magazine has the story:
It is said that the small but highly efficient emergency medical services of the Swiss canton of Glarus include in their medics’ toolkit a small vial of Schabziger. Whenever a person passes out, the vial is opened below his or her nostrils until he or she wakes up. Failure to respond to the Schabziger treatment is not a good sign[...]The texture is a bit like a hard ricotta, and the aroma is uniquely pungent. It’s generally not eaten on it’s own, but used in cooking instead, where it is grated over potatoes, spätzle, salads or soup. It is also sometimes mixed with equal parts butter and used as a spread on bread.
