What do you mean I’m 20 days late for Schmitty’s birthday? I’m 345 days early!

I swear I had the sketch ready on his birthday, things just kept happening. But in all seriousness, he’s finally here!

To be honest, Schmitty for me is a Jackbox host that gives me an odd amount of difficulty to design. At first, it was a problem of my younger self not having a full grasp on who he was when I first designed him 5 years ago (holy crap my first Schmitty fanart was his B-day 5 years ago aaaa). Then, it became a thing of learning things about him that I had difficulty drawing, like his goatee and later vetoing the fact that he’s canonically bald. And now, it’s become an issue of not knowing how to draw outfits for him, especially when I want to incorporate the game’s graphic design into a suit pattern. I love Quiplash 3’s art direction, but it’s hard to incorporate all those wonderful colors into a coherent outfit. Most of this talk is still limited to behind the scenes stuff, but I promise the designs are getting done, it just may be a while before I show off proper references because there are a lot of hosts.

We can officially mark "Update the 'You Don't Know Jack' Hosts" OFF the to-do list!

This is a remake of an older piece I made ages ago. Like, back before I learned Cookie was NOT the bald man in the Jackbox box, ages ago. Unlike the remake I did last year, this one isn't TOO different from the original. It's mostly little fixes. Better anatomy, improved style, more interesting shading and shadows, it's the little things that pull a piece together.

I've also updated my designs for Nate, Buzz, and Guy. Nate hasn't changed much, but I did change his eyes a bit. Helps to set him apart from the others. Buzz has a different sweater because I wasn't a fan of his old one. Plus, this one has bee colors! Guy also got an outfit update, as I think green and yellow suit him better than the blue tank top I originally gave him. He's also got some piercings, just for fun!
