Summer: Tai, what do you think I should get Ruby for Color Day?

Tai: Well she seems to like everything you do. So just get her something you would want.

Summer: That makes sense.

Tai: So, what do you want, Summer?

Summer: Nothing!

Jaune: What's wrong Ruby?

Ruby: I don't know what to get mom for Color Day. Do you have any ideas?

Jaune: I'd just get her something that you would want. Since you two so similar. So, what do you want for Color Day?

Ruby: You~

Jaune: ...Like sexually or...

Schneecaster 10: Upgrade Time

Summer: So, what all do you two need to get today?

Ruby: A few changes of clothes. Pajamas.

Jaune: I think I need to get new shoes. Mine are kind of falling apart.

Ruby: You should probably get some new armor too.

Jaune: Yeah, my current set is getting a little small.

Ruby: Maybe you should get a weapon upgrade while we're down here too?

Jaune: Nope.

Ruby: Come on Jaune! You need a ranged option.

Taiyang: Nah, all you really need for weaponry is your own body.

Raven: Simple designs tend to be more durable.

Ruby: What!?

Summer: I know, they're all weird.

Ruby: What about you Qrow? I know Harbinger has shotguns.

Qrow: What's a harbinger?

Ruby: ...I need to make you all weapons when we get back.

Ruby: *Stirs awake, shivers*

Ruby: *Feels around for Jaune*

Raven: Shut up!

Qrow: It's too early for both of you to be screaming.

Summer: Color Day!

Schneecaster 2: STRQ

OJR: *Walking through Beacon's halls*

Ozpin: While you are here at Beacon you will be partners, and assigned with one of our preexisting teams.

Jaune: Alright.

Ozpin: Remember your cover story. For the moment, we cannot risk any others discovering your true origins.

Ruby: Of course. Who are we being teamed up with?

Ozpin: One of our better first year teams. At least in terms of combat ability. Their teamwork could use some work however.

Jaune: Sounds familiar. Right Ruby?

Ruby: Hey, that's- You're- Not wrong.

Ozpin: I do believe that Ms. Rose's experience repairing strained team dynamics should be helpful.

Ruby: Ha!

Ozpin: As well as Mr. Arc's fine strategic mind, and their current leader's potential, I believe that your new team will benefit greatly from your addition.

Ruby: Wait, we aren't replacing someone as leader, right?

Ozpin: Not quite, but I'll go into more detail on your arrangement once we've introduced you to your new team. Speaking of which *Stops in front of a dorm door* We're here. *Knocks on door*

???: Coming! *Door opens*

Tai: Who is- Oh, Professor Ozpin. We weren't expecting you... We aren't in trouble again, right?

Ozpin: No, nothing of the sort. I simply wish to speak to your team about some new students.

Tai: Oh okay, who's the- *Notices Jaune* Oh I gues you're the- *Notices Ruby* What the hell?

Ruby: Uhhhhmmm, hi da- Ta- Dude. How's it hanging? *Finger guns*

Tai: Okay, I guess?

Ozpin: Mr. Xiao Long. May we enter?

Tai: Oh, yeah. Come in.

Raven: Who is it?

Qrow: Hopefully noone- Summer? Am I drunk or did you get shorter?

Summer: *Walking out of the bathroom* No? What are you- *Notices Ruby* ...

Ozpin: Team STRQ, mean your new teammates. Jaune Arc and Ruby Rose.

Summer: Ruby... Rose...

Schneecaster 4: STARRQ

Tai: New teammates? I thought you only did teams of four?

Ozpin: Under normal circumstances you would be correct, but teams of six or three can be used when the circumstances demand it.

Qrow: And what would those be?

Ozpin: With the recent damages to Haven Academy's student housing during the most recent protests, many of the first year teams have been left without housing. As such many teams will be temporarily transferring to the other Academies while repairs are under way.

Raven: Where are the rest of their team then?

Ozpin: The other members of the former team JNPR have decided they no longer wish to be huntsmen, and have dropped out. While Mr. Arc and Ms. Ruby Rose have decided to permanently transfer to Beacon.

Raven: So we're stuck with two more people for the next four years?

Ozpin: If they wish to stay on this team, then yes.

Tai: So, does the team name stay the same or what?

Ozpin: Only a slight change in spelling. Team STRQ will now be team STARRQ. With Ms. Summer Rose and Mr. Arc in a co-leadership role.

Raven: Great, another useless leader.

Summer: ...

Jaune: Well, umm, I've been told I have a great strategic mind. *Nervous chuckle*

Ozpin: Quite. I'll take my leave now and let you all get acquainted. I'll have some sleeping bags sent up later, and have two new beds installed tomorrow. Welcome to Beacon Academy. *Leaves*

Jaune: ...

Ruby: ...So, how is everyone?

Qrow: ...

Raven: ...

Tai: I'm good... You okay Summer?

Summer: ...I thought it was just me and my Uncle... I thought we were the last Roses...

Summer: Okay team, let's get ready for operation clothes shopping!

Ruby: Yeah!

Raven: Does everything we do need to have an "operation" name?

Summer: Yep! Come on, let's go!

Qrow: Summer, that's not the way to the bullheads. It's this way.

Summer: W-well I was thinking that maybe we could just take a bus down today. You know, for some extra team bonding *Nervous laugh*

Ruby: They have busses here?

Jaune: Apparently.

Taiyang: Come on Sums, you're going to have to get over it eventually.

Ruby: Over what?

Summer: Nothing!

Taiyang: She hates flying because-

Summer: Because nothing!

Jaune: It's nothing to be ashamed of Summer. I don't like flying much either.

Summer: Really?

Jaune: Yeah, I get super air sick.

Ruby: That's why he's "Vomit Boy".

Summer: Oh, well that's not really my problem.

Taiyang: She's scared of heights.

Summer: Tai!

Summer: Here's the ferry!

Qrow: How long's it going to take to sail over?

Taiyang: Twenty or Thirty or minutes. Give or take.

Raven: Can't we just fly?

Ruby: It's been awhile since I've been back to Patch.

Summer: You've been before?

Ruby: U-Umm. I... I visited a few years ago with with dad and sister.

Taiyang: Cool. Guess you've seen some of the sights then.

Ruby: I guess.

Summer: Hopefully not all of them.

Taiyang: We could always take everyone out to that one spot overlooking the forest.

Summer: Oooh, yeah. It's a great view. Not a lot of tourists either.

Taiyang: You okay Summer?

Summer: Oh! Yeah, it's just weird to think that I'm dead in this timeline.

Raven: At least you didn't abandon your family.

Taiyang: Still can't believe you did that here.

Qrow: Eh, I can believe it.

Summer: Qrow...

Qrow: What? You remember what she was like when we started at Beacon.

Raven: Unfortunately, Qrow is correct. At one point in time I would have left without hesitation.

Taiyang: Well, it doesn't really matter what that version of you did Rae. You chose to stay.

Summer: Yeah, you can't blame yourself for decisions you didn't make.

Raven: I guess you're both right.

Yang: ...So, how much did Aunt Ruby and Uncle Jaune tell you all about their version of mom and Aunt Summer?

Raven: Only that I left.

Summer: And that I took care of the other you and Tai afterwards, but disappeared at some point.

Taiyang: Ruby was pretty young when it happened, and apparently the other me and Qrow were pretty tight lipped about the whole thing. We don't have much to go on.

Yang: Are you going to ask the other you about it then?

Taiyang: Yeah.

Summer: I think we're here.

STRQ+Y: *Walk up to the Rose Xiao Long household and stand on the front porch*

Taiyang: So, who's gonna knock?

Summer: I'm not. I mean, we got married in this timeline, and I don't really want to get kissed by you Tai.

Taiyang: Fair enough.

Raven: I can't imagine he would be too thrilled to see me.

Taiyang: And he'd freak out if it was me.

Summer: So Qrow or Yang?

Yang: I'll do it. *Knocks on the front door*

Tai: *Muffled* Coming!

Tai: *Opens door* Hello? Oh, Yang. What are you doing here?

Yang: Just visiting.

Tai: Oh, well you should have called first. I could have been out on a mission. *Notices Qrow* Qrow, need a place to crash?

Qrow: Nope. Don't really drink much anymore. Right Sums?

Tai: Sums? You're alive!?

Summer: Yes, but hold on I need to ex-

Tai: Raven!? What the hell are you doing here?

Raven: I'm not your Raven.

Tai: Not my Raven? What is that supposed to... Is that me?
