While reading about erotic triangles (which is connected to homosocial desire by sedgwick and claims that two guys are more interested in the rivalry between each other than the girl they are competing for) the whole thing between Richy, Schocker and Elli is even funnier, because I can't even argue that they were in an erotic triangle, because Richy is full on not interested in Elli at all. He's just super jealous of her, and the movie does not once imply that he would be interested in her. The whole time he's just interested in Schocker. Which is kind of even gayer because Richy and Schocker were not competing for Elli, but Elli and Richy were competing for Schocker.
