Well, it's that BTS time of year again, so in honor of beyond the sc- sorry BACK TO SCHOOL I've decided to start a series of masterposts that'll (hopefully) make the back to school preparations a little easier. To start the series I'm going to talk about my Top 5 School Essentials. This may be different for everyone but hopefully it'll get you thinking on what you really need for this coming school year.
1. A G E N D A
Coming in at the top of the list for essential school supplies that'll make this school year successful is an agenda. With the studyblr community you'll find so many different ways of staying organized using agendas. Some prefer premade planners and others love bullet journaling. It really depends on your preferences. If you're someone who doesn't like the lack or excess of space that may come with already made planners, a bujo might be better for you. If you might not have the time or care for creating your own layout every week then you might prefer a planner. I have a more in depth masterpost discussing this if you really want to find out which is best for you.
2. B L A C K P E N
One thing I've always found annoying is when my pen does this cutting in and out thing when I'm trying to take notes. It's either you work completely or not at all, right? So I strongly suggest you find good quality black pens for note-taking especially if you're a heavy note-taker! Here are my suggestions [that you've probably seen a million times by now bc the studyblr community has this elite black pen committee that everyone agrees is good or not]
For those who like thin pens: Pilot G2 0.38mm
For those who like thicker pens: Uni-ball Signo 0.7mm
3. C O L L E G E R U L E D N O T E B O O K
This is a bit more personal to me however I think many other studyblrs may agree on this. I mean it's a notebook- that's obvious. But a COLLEGE RULED notebook. Now that's a necessity. I personally think that wide rules notebooks make my notes look blank and waste too much space so I prefer college ruled, just a suggestion to those who feel the same :)
4. " I M P O R T A N T " F O L D E R
Having a single folder that holds all of your important papers is very helpful when you need to find something quickly. However if you decide to include this in your upcoming school supply spree, 1. make sure it is durable and 2. don't let it become your "oh I'll put this in here for now and put it away later" folder. Trust me, YOU'LL NEVER PUT IT AWAY. Be really strict with yourself about this folder! Only use it for assigned or due homework and any other important papers (i.e. papers that need to be signed or filled asap).
5. B A C K P A C K
RADICAL, I KNOW. But please read before you judge me. Yes I know a backpack is obvious- BUT! Buying the right backpack is not as easy as you'd think.. So, I decided to jot down a couple things you should look for in a backpack based on your grade!
Middle School: Most middle school students will probably be carrying a lot. Whether it be that huge 6" binder they make you use or that "new" laptop that has a ridiculously thick case that almost makes it look like you're carrying another bag, middle school students do tend to carry A LOT. I suggest you get a relatively big backpack with many pockets that'll fit the things you need. Maker sure you know what it is that NEEDS to go into your backpack, like that binder and laptop + other things and consider if everything will fit. Now that you have that situated, make sure it's comfortable. Carrying all that will put a toll on your backpack and your shoulders so make sure it's comfortable as well. I would probably put durability last on your list because most middle schoolers aren't carrying their backpacks around.
High School: For you guys, I suggest a DURABLE backpack. Since you're carrying it around all day long, you want to make sure it won't break on you at any moment. Trust me on this one, your backpack snapping in the middle of the hallway with a bunch of hormonal teenagers pushing their way around you is not a fun situation to be in. Also make sure it's comfortable as you will be carrying around.
College: A huge backpack isn't necessary since you won't be taking all your classes every day. Just make sure it's comfortable, has a laptop pocket, and is a reasonable size.
So that's the list! Tell me how you feel about it, if this helped you, or if there's anything on the list you can't believe I didn't put in there! Also comment or message me any suggestions that you would like to see & I'll be happy to upload it asap! I will be doing shout outs to those who give me suggestions!
Much love, studyessie
So we got my kids school supply list...
Back-to-school shopping is an exciting ritual for you and your child, but it can also feel like a chore. Of course, new clothes, new shoes, new school supplies, new lunch bags and new backpacks will be fun. But this annual ceremony can easily overwhelm parents financially, organizationally, and emotionally.
The School Muse List for After Cinderella Reopens
Just noting too that all of the students went to the Magisterium before the closing chaos- changed enrollment during the gap - and then these are the final decisions after the Town Hall about the safety incident.
Delta Triton is the only student still at large. There’s no way to categorize her until their current escapade with the Boogies has settled out being on the run.
Side Note: Triton would eventually make it out of the thorns and done some investigating of his own. King Triton will visit Sally and Frank’s house every day hoping for his daughter’s return.
Last side note: I’m reprising some of my old roles for more males and revising their histories to suit updated canon. However I know Zero was played a little while and had interactions with Cinderella, so please give me a recap on anything relevant she needs to keep.
