A super simple spell candle I made to help me focus and remember information while doing schoolwork/studying. I light it whenever I am doing anything school-related, whether it’s watching a lecture or doing homework.

I also keep my blue-light glasses with it to charge them to also help me focus since with online school I am always wearing them while I work.

I used a plain white 7-day candle and dressed it with some homemade blockbusting oil, rosemary, and chamomile. The sigil is from @blood.moon.bruja on Instagram.

College Witch Tip: Research

So why exactly I never thought of this before is beyond me, but now that I have I'm in love.

Use your school's library's online data base to look up your deities and practices!

You already pay for it! Like many services offered by college institutions, library services are paid for by your tuition so you might as well use them! That database isn't just for research papers, find academic journals for all of your interests! For instance, a quick search on my school's library website for Hecate revealed works including rituals, insight into when and how she was first worshiped, and images from recovered archeological digs relating to her! In just a few brief searches, I also found several free translations of the Mabinogi and access to research books that are listed as hundreds of dollars on Amazon 😳 Anyways, enjoy your access to more information than you know what to do with and use those services offered by your school!

Hey hun I’m super anxious about an exam coming up.... are there any study spells/ passing a test spell you recommend?

Totally! The simplest thing I can think of, is blending a proprietary blend of oils to wear, or burn while you study - try using scents for wisdom, attentiveness, and so on, like rosemary. Then, on the day of the test, dab some of the oil on yourself before going in.

You can also add a pinch of knot magic by anointing a ribbon (use olive to match the wisdom theme!), and a matching candle, with the oil, knotting the ribbon around the candle and lighting it every time you study. On test day, wear the ribbon on your wrist or elsewhere on your person to ensure success. (This is one of my favorite spells!)
