Whispers of dawn by PeterThoeny On my trip to the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border last year I was jet lagged, I woke up early, and started an hike before sunrise up the mountain from my hometown Schuders. I reached the top of the mountain ridge shortly after sunrise. I processed a realistic, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. Early morning hike by PeterThoeny Jet lagged, I woke early, and started an early hike up the mountain from my hometown Schuders, located in the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border. I reached to top of the mountain ridge shortly after sunrise. Behind the rocky mountain range in the back is Austria. I processed a realistic, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. No, the Ö is not a surprised emoji, it's a border stone by PeterThoeny My hometown Schuders is located in the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border. One day we hiked up on a steep mountain pass and crossed the border into Austria, where we had a picnic on a pasture. On the left is the 440 m (1400 ft) vertical wall of the Drusenfluh, famous among rock climbers. Sitting on the pasture, the back of my body is in Austria, the front is in Switzerland. How cool is that? Do you see the border stone on the left? The 😮 is not a "surprised" emoji, it stands for Österreich (Austria,) the other side has an S for Schweiz (Switzerland.) I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from two RAW exposures, merged them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image.
