Since 1987, the recognizable roars of the Predator franchise have filled movie theaters, beginning with the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first Predator film. While the series has had its share of highs and lows—including Danny Glover's role in Predator 2, the Alien vs. Predator crossovers, and later entries like Predators and The Predator—it was 2022's Prey, expertly directed by Dan Trachtenberg, that truly redefined the hunt.
Now, Trachtenberg is back at the helm for a truly unique and exciting new spin in the universe: Predator: Killer of Killers! This isn't just another prequel; it's a prequel to Prey, delving even deeper into the history of these ultimate hunters.
Here’s where it gets really interesting: the film follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history as they become the ultimate prey to the deadliest killer of killers. And in a bold move unlike any other film in the franchise, Predator: Killer of Killers is entirely animated!
Dan Trachtenberg, who also co-wrote the film, aimed to create something truly distinctive – a fresh take that stands out and satisfies that audience craving for innovation. He wanted to push the boundaries of what a Predator story could be.
Predator: Killer of Killers is now streaming on Hulu.

For all it’s tone whiplash - switching between insane action, saccharine sweet song & dance routines and weird, almost Disney-eque scenes with Chitti talking to mosquitoes, I have to give this movie serious respect for the dark places it takes it’s story.
November 4, 1988 - They Live is released in the US.
The sc-fi action horror film is based on the 1963 short story “Eight O’Clock in the Morning” by Ray Nelson. It was written and directed by John Carpenter. It starred Roddy Piper, Keith David and Meg Foster.
Fun fact: The iconic five minute and 20 second fight scene that took place in an alley took three days to film, but three weeks to rehearse.
It’s the end of a era...the badlands are no more.
