Update!!! :D
Hey guys! I am pleased to report that I am now 119 lbs!!! Weight loss goal 2 complete!!! I feel so happy and excited about finally being able to pass 120, if only by 1 pound! My next goal is 115, then finally 110 :3 My nutrition has been a bit better this week than the last since getting my groceries, I’ve been able to go back to having more home-cooked and healthier meals. However, I was not able to exercise much because holy cow I was pretty much exhausted the whoooole week :/ I think I only ran 2 times this week, and had no gym time >.< I haven’t been getting much sleep lately and it really took a toll on me, I even had to take work off Friday because I genuinely felt just too tired to get to work in the first place :/ This whole weekend, I’ve been mostly sleeping and trying to relax and I’m finally beginning to get on that upward slope to restfulness, but I’ve got a long way to go still. Maybe I’ll invest in taking melatonin and chamomile/sleepy time teas to see if it’ll help. After all, what I want the most is for my body to be healthy and happy!
ALSO I MUST SAY on Thursday after being pretty productive at work, I thought I could treat myself to some McDonald’s chicken nuggets and fries and HOLY CRAP I felt like it ruined me :/ I felt (more) sluggish, my stomach was bloated, when I ran I got stomach knots (I never get those!), I got constipated (TMI), and it was just awful :/ I guess after having so much more healthier food and drink, my body really doesn’t like the processed stuff so much :/ Tbh I think I’m still recovering from it :(
But yes! This week I plan to jump back into the business, and keep working toward my physical goals! >:D
Progress during the past week (or two)
So because of my really busy schedule last week (and the week before), I have not really been doing too well in terms of what I’ve been eating. Since Lab Appreciation Week was last week, the lab I work for had food prepared for us everyday but they were foods I haven’t had in a long time x.x I had pizza (!!!), tacos, pasta (I actually do thrive on a lot of pasta lol, I just haven’t been eating so much of it lately), ice cream (<3), I even had some soda! Pair that with dinner at Outback Steakhouse for my sister’s birthday dinner, and drinks at a pub for date night with my boo, I was consuming quite a lot of ‘new’ stuff lol :) Also, I haven’t had time to cook at home or go to the grocery store, so those meals were pretty much all I had >.< I wasn’t able to make breakfast, snacks, or lunch. I did try to squeeze in exercise whenever I could though. I ran 4 miles late Sunday evening, 5.5 miles on Friday morning, and I think I visited the gym once or twice last week. I also decreased the amount of water I normally drank, which is quite terrible :/
Yesterday, I got to finally go to the supermarket and buy fresh proteins and veggies, so hopefully there won’t be too many stumbling blocks in my way for this week :D I intend to go to the gym after work in the early AM after work every other day >:3 I’m so close to my end goal I’m practically salivating lmao xD I really want to get stronger, lighter, and more confident in myself :) Here’s to the upcoming week!
Weight Loss!!!
I’m so happy! My original weight was 142 lbs (10.14 stone), now I’m at a settled 133 lbs (9.5 stone)! My goal weight is 120 but I really wouldn’t mind a 115. I’m 5′3 and a half, and being in the 140 range was seriously affecting me mentally. Because I’m short, the weight really shows :/
To lose weight, I’m cut down almost completely on the amount of food I eat, and I was biking 13 miles a day and going to the gym for more cardio and weight lifting but I developed runner’s knee and I’m waiting for that to heal to resume. Also I started a new job with long hours and I ended up eating McDonalds breakfast every so often and the thought of that is killing me.
Anyways, 9 pounds down, 13 more to go! I’m so psyched for when I get in the 120 range, you have no idea T_T
