How I imagine the Cavatica's dash core
To Our Friendly Underworld is a podcast telling a collectively created story. It was originally run as a collaborative project directed and told by Erica Yamamoto, using submission boxes and polls on instagram.
Friends and acquaintances wrote in and voted, and a delightfully heartfelt sci-fi was born.
The event, expected to last 3 days, instead lasted 3 weeks due to unanticipated community engagement. As the story grew more complex, and eventually to a close, original artwork poured in from a small group of invested members. Dubbed IMPLANT, the final narrative was begging to be told in greater depth.
So, through close collaboration and a shared love of the project, the core group of artists united to form TOFU’s dev team, with the goal of bringing the story of IMPLANT to life.
To Our Friendly Underworld serves as a testament to the dedication of creative thinkers, honoring the drive to make the intangible real. It is the unique telling of a tale grounded on the notions of friendship and camaraderie.
To Our Friendly Underworld is an original podcast created by Erica Yamamoto and Lucas Dul. It was produced and edited by Justina Marji and Anastasia Dalia Sîrbu.

🔺SLAVATION - . . 🛰️🇷🇺🇺🇸SALVATION INT🇬🇧🇨🇳🛰️ The Salvation International was a joint venture between NASA, CNSA, ROSCOSMOS, ESA, ISRO, and JAXA. This historic and momentous undertaking began in the late 21st century to strengthen ties during times of war and to ensure governmental expansion into space. Private industry had already pioneered innovations in space-based solar power and asteroid mining. The ever-increasing allure of high-orbit living meant an ever-increasing need for territory agreements. The Salvation International meant more than a hall of judicial power; to most people, it symbolized hope for humanity. - . . N E W . M U S I C . O U T . West Sussex Sci-Fi
Now on Sussex World / SussexExpress! Come and see "CycloneLIVE!" on July 8th in Chichester.
Cyclone Live! brings a sci-fi warning about what we might become to this year's Festival of Chichester.
Another Audioverse Nominee! Let's talk about 2022 Tribeca Film Festival selected podcast, Modes of Thought in Anterran Literature from @wlfdr . Modes of Thought in Anterran Literature is a spec-fic, Classical Lit (tbh more like anthro or history to me) podcast presented partly as a University class. We follow Professor (?) as he teaches a possibly questionable class on the literature of a heretofore unknown society, the Anterrans. A society that dates back to 84,000 BCE--massively well before any other known civilization. The ruins of Anterra lie deep in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, or so say the ultra-secretive (and let's be honest, sometimes scientifically dodgy) Chinese scientists who are working the dive site. But with almost no publications online or in the news, how does the professor even *know* about Anterra or its wall-carved literature, let alone have enough info to teach Classics C667?? He appears to possibly have some Chinese contacts, but is this true, or an elaborate hoax from a slightly unlikeable man who wants to make a name for himself, or is maybe slowly going insane? Is this enough to stake his reputation on, enough to risk his position at Harbridge University? He thinks so, and we'll just have to wait and see. Modes is a unique plot in podcasting, so far as I can tell. Which is always fun and refreshing! 9, 15 minute episodes so far, and Season 2 just started up--episodes every two weeks. It should be a quick catch up! So, if you like academia with an air of mystery, spies and secretive governments, and/or unreliable narrators, then Modes of Thought in Anterran Literature is for you!
