࿔࿐ About Sci ࿔࿐
✧ Backstory
In the original Static Ocean story, Sci comes from a secluded island and befriends the SMG4 crew after they take a vacation there. She tags along on their trip back and moves into the Mushroom Kingdom to begin a new life.
Later on, she becomes part of their adventures as a secondary cast member and an unknowing background character for Puzzlevision. Garnering Mr. Puzzles attention after the events of PV, she becomes his main target to try and manipulate in order to enact his revenge plans against the crew.
This doesn't go as planned, however, when they start getting close and Puzzles finds himself actually enjoying the fish's company. Causing conflict inside himself— if he should follow his plans and betray her as was planned all along, or listen to his heart.
✧ Personality
Sci— for a lack of a better term— is unruly. She's adventurous and reckless, bold and strong-willed, and yet— also very empathetic and caring, almost loyal to the point of an extreme.
She's often taking risks and getting into situations head-on if she thinks she has a good chance to succeed or believes it's for the greater good of everyone. She also won't hesitate to help someone in need, whether physically or emotionally, friends and enemies alike; this is often the cause of a lot of her problems.
Sci is known for befriending many of her enemies once she grows empathetic of them. Notable examples being Scripted Puzzles (by @michaelscorneroftheinternet and @dorriostareyes) and RTV (by @4thwallbreakerdraws2).
࿔࿐ About The Siren ࿔࿐
Sci comes from a siren-esque species with a culture revolving around ocean and sea deities, more specifically a being called "The Siren".
The Siren is a mini-deity that protects the oceans from potential dangers. Every generation, a new protector is chosen by the ocean itself to wield its power and continue its duty.
Sci is the current host of the Siren's power. She's able to transform into a large serpent-like creature with incredible strength and speed, and by extension of the magic, into many oceanic animals; she was also trained to wield the power as per ritual requirement and taught to be well-versed with a wide variety of melee weaponry.
✧ List of abilities, power and magic:
Shapeshifting
Into the Siren herself, or into a wide variety of ocean animals such as: sharks, whales, cephalopods, crustaceans, etc.
Water-healing
Works exclusively in salt-water.
Siren's call
A psychic-like ability capable of hypnotizing it's subject.
Enhanced strength and speed
Induced by Siren power.
Hand-to-hand combat and melee weaponry
Trained in combat, not given by the Siren power. Sci's preferred weapon is the trident that transforms from her necklace.
Water breathing + retractable fins
Natural fish biology, not given by the Siren power. Able to swim much faster than a normal human.
