atticus knew he'd meet new people given his current circumstances. he was surrounded by strangers , magic and supernatural beings. it was all a little overwhelming for a guy who'd only been brought back to life recently. this stranger was like the others , a piece in the puzzle he was attempting to solve. “ hello. i don't mean to sound rude ... i'm just wondering ... are you from here ? ”

after all they'd been through zoya had much more love for the girls than she had in the beginning. and honestly being in this strange place would've been much worse without familiar faces. "hey, genya. it's ... good to see you." she responds, a small smile on her face.

riley liked to check in every now and then on her friends and make sure they were doing alright. especially minette since she had approached her when they first got to college. "hey! i'm glad you could meet me today! how've you been?"
