supernatural fic recs author spotlight: scorpiod/@ladyculebras
I am very biased.
@ladyculebras is overall my best friend and favorite person, but I do think she is a fantastic writer in her own merit, despite my very warm and cozy feelings towards her. She has such a visceral, cinematic quality to all her fics that make them feel like watching an episode of the show (or, really, a high budget movie spin-off of the show). Her character voices are so spot-on that it is always a joy to read her writing Sam and Dean. She specializes in monster AUs, roadtrip narratives, and weecest, but she's branched out a few times to great success. I love all her works, so I'm listing them all here from lowest word count to highest.

Unfortunately, resisting the pull of human blood is hard when your brother is sleeping in the next bed over. And Sam’s new overpowered senses let him pick up on some peculiarities he wouldn’t have otherwise, like where Dean sneaks off to in the middle of the night to make some extra cash, or that Dean’s feelings for his brother are more than brotherly.
