#scrapped idea

For a while now I've wanted to make a DpxDc prompt where Danny is part of the JL/JLD/YJ/TT in some compasity, and hes been there for a while, but now its the Infinite Realms' mating season. However, because Danny is an underaged ghost, hes not the usual broody, and fight hungry that most unmated Ghosts tend to be, instead hes super whiny, sleepy, and cuddley. Danny is kinda seen as a baby, or at least very young in ghost terms, and as a result his instincts make him cling to all the JL/JLD/YJ/TT members. As much as everyone doesnt wants to admit it, Phantom is kinda adorable like this. Hes such a tank when in a crisis, that seeing him so docile, and honestly a bit cry babyish, is so oddly endearing, so nobody minds letting Phantom curling around them, or plopping himself in their arms and lap, purring up a storm all the while.

But there is no real logical reason that Ghosts/Realms Beings would have or need a mating season, so my thoughts on it kinda stopped there.

I have had these scrapped comic pages in my files for too long. This was before I made all of the changes I've made more currently. Plus, the whole plot is different so sorry, there's no leaks to be seen. How unfortunate for the analyzers that have to burn all the strings on their billboard.

Something that used to be part of Stanfords character before I scrapped it, was him being trans (female to male) and it would be tied to his toxic masculinity issues and him not "liking" feminine things cuz he thought it would take away his 'manliness", and he thought wearing and liking stuff like that wouldn't make him a real man,

So these three art pieces have been sitting in my drafts folder for well over half a year now. The fic they were going to be attached to had to recently be scrapped, and some events and concepts have changed that no longer make them relevant to the story.

But~ I don’t want them to go to waste, so I figure I’ll at least share them with you! ✨

Feel free to make a guess to what the fic was going to be about! (If you guess correctly, I’ll make a quick sketch for you. Because why not? :D)

Scrapped Clans

List of scrapped clans I had two years ago.

Wind Clan

Floral/Forest Clan

Water Clan

Rock Clan

Metal Clan

Frost/Ice Clan

Dune Clan

Old doodle I managed to find.

These clans were supposed to get their own drawings, but in the end, I scrapped the idea.

Each clan was gonna look different and nothing like the Shadow Clan.

For example:

Frost/Ice Clan were gonna be ice humanoids with a berserker theme to them.

Rock Clan were gonna be the biggest and tallest of all, with bulky and muscular bodies. They would look kind of similar to the Stone Warriors of the Eastern Cavern.

Metal Clan were gonna look slick and have blade arms.

Each Clan were also gonna reside in different Caverns located under Continents, Countries, and Regions.

The Ice/Frost Clan were gonna reside in the Scandinavian Caverns and the Russian Caverns.

The Rock Clan were gonna reside in two continents/countries, which are Africa and Australia.

Anyhow, that’s all.

Fuck it! Time for more of my insane ramblings!

You know, I once had an idea that Petey and Cherrie actually met once in the past before but they didn’t really register it until meeting again as adults.

Essentially the idea was that Cherrie had been put back into the adoption system as a teenager and may have been forced to attend high school (yes this is stupidity and won’t work in canon that’s why I scrapped it but bare with me here!)

Anyway, she ends up seeing and meeting Petey at this high school and it’s more like a fleeting experience for them. Cherrie is only there for a week before she escapes the orphanage and runs away.

When they meet again in Ohkay City, that’s when they realize that they did, in fact, meet before this. I guess my idea for this was that they had a connection that runs deeper than they thought or some shit like that.

Anyway, I may make another ramble before going to bed. I just needed to get this out of my brain.
