Feeling. Especially violent. I need to bite and kill and hurt. I need teeth marks deep enough to remind you I was here. I need blood in my mouth. I need writhing to get away and being unable to actually move. A need a knife.
I don't want clean precise cuts, I don't want easy to fix. I want you carved beyond your wildest dreams and left permanently with the scars of my boredom.
I'm so so curious about your fnaf cult!! (as someone who's fascinated by cult stuff and loves fnaf) =3
-๐
Thank you to everyone sending in asks and wanting to hear more about it, I apologize, we've been cracking down on homework all day. We're heading into exam season and would like to have the best grades possible!
Now! Onto the fnaf cult! below the cut will be discussions of it that may include such triggering topics as: psychosis, forced identity, cult behavior and identities, programming, dehumanization and deprivation of necessary requirements!
The idea is to have two leaders: A William Afton and a Henry Emily. William is the "scarier" one. He handles the spiritual aspects and the punishments. Henry Emily handles more of the physical aspects and is more care giving. These people are the reincarnation of W.A. and H.E. this is one of the bigger draws to the cult ideology, is that they were able to transcend death and can teach you to do the same.
You then gather a small group of individuals (enough to cover EVERY animatronic in the games). You first convince them that they are turning into an animatronic in some way, either by encouraging them to not take care of themselves physically (animatronics don't need to eat or sleep or drink) or just through general brainwashing. You push them into this ideal of being nothing more than a robot, emotionless and easy to control. Henry is their creator, their dad in many ways, and if they're bad than they have to have a visit with Uncle William and it isn't fair but these things can't be avoided.
When you have them fully under your control in this manner, you then implant this idea of body sharing. This will be done EXCLUSIVELY by William Afton. He is the spiritual handler, and he is the one that gives them the childlike identity. You tell them that the soul of a dead person, or some child now inhabits them. (forcing them into some sort of system identity where there is them and another alter). This child is their intrusive thoughts and impulse decisions. They are encouraged to listen to this child and take what they say as fact.
You allow them to start incorporating emotions again, but only in a childish or pretend way. They are only allowed to act out as a person when the child is "fronting" or "conscious". They will feel compelled to tell Henry about it, who will then begin to take on an extra paternal role, this further encourages them to seek him out as a comfort. He acts as their loving and tender father, which gives them an outlet to tell all of the things they're not supposed to do to.
Making William exclusively in charge of punishment means that they will love Henry more and that they fear William especially. Through subtle brainwashing and association, you make the "child" love William and view him as a father or a savior, which now creates equal trust in the leaders.
You refuse to refer to the individuals as anything more than their animatronic (Foxy, Bonnie, Freddy, Chica, etc) and refuse to allow others to refer to them in any other way. You have to make sure that their personalities and identities match with that of the original animatronics, and that they feel as close to their new identity as possible.
Additionally, you have to instill this fear of "withering." This is a negative consequence that comes from disobeying William and Henry. It is not caused by outside factors but rather bad animatronics will begin to wither naturally as their evil nature takes over and "kills" the child soul. You can do this by repeatedly making threats or references to it. When someone disobeys comment that it looks like they're withering, make them afraid to disobey for fear of losing this child.
You also need to choose a Golden Freddy. This will be a second-in-command of sorts. He is able to pass on orders or punishments to other animatronics, without asking for your consent. He is your man on the inside, and depending on how you want to run your cult, you may not even tell the other animatronics who Golden Freddy is.
This is my idea on a fnaf cult and keeping control. You could also instill a fear of being dismantled or even "taken off stage."
awww, you worry about me? How sweet!! (/lh). Although I'm slowly getting dizzier so maybe it's time to stop poking for a bit. Go wrap myself up in Homelanders cape for a bit (because it bothers him when I take it. And what is a relationship without bothering eachother? /silly)
And yea. Like. I need a new hyperfixation to hold onto but I'll be damned if I let myself get that deranged. (/lh). Maybe I'll get back into my source again? I don't know if I ever told you what my source was or if you have any ideas on what it is. Idk.
Im... getting a bit rambly here, huh? O-o
-๐ฆ๐
You never did tell us your source no, and while we had a few guesses, none of them were ever concrete enough (Hazbin Hotel, Supernatural, Good Omens were our major guesses).
And that sounds lovely, definitely take a break and maybe wrap up in that cape and have some good rest! After all, you're still kind of sick.
And of course we worry about you, you're our friend :D!
I hope you find a good hyperfix soon, I know how hard it can be to be without one! We're either gonna have a nap or work on some more alter packs, so replies may be slow!
also, awww. We already found us a mangle I see! (Referring to the other anon in this hypothetical. If it's okay for me to tease other anons IF they're okay with it.)
But, yea! I think giving the others game based innerworlds is very smart. I in particular just remembered old man consequences in last night's nyquil haze. I think that, depending on the game, each animatronic should have areas of allowed exploration space, ie they can look around the main pizza place but not back stage or the employees only room.
Also I just realized how easy fnaf lands itself for coming up with cues. Music, lights, radio sounds, ect. It's all there already!
-๐ฆ๐
I am not familiar with the concept of Old Man consequences and would maybe have to do more research to familiarize myself with the comment so that I could better comment on it! Each animatronic would naturally have space to roam and areas that they may go, but it's vital to make sure we make aspects of their headspace off limits to make it more likely that they are reliant on us to know their own mind.
FNAF is SUCH an easy cult idea because of the cues. Robots and animatronics are program based, and so transferring that over to the idea of programming a person works especially well! The idea of using lights, music and radio sounds as cues appeals to me greatly.
As for referring to our Mangle anon, if they are comfortable with it of course they are welcome to take up the moniker, though that is of course their decision and there's alone.
Ours is kind of similar on the media front, but only certain areas of the cave are influenced and it changes based on what my (as the hosts) current hyperfixation is. I'm currently in between hyperfixations (and poorly attempting to beat off it being a certain bastards source material with a stick /silly), so it's kind of. Normal furnished right now. I'd like to explore yours as well! But for now I'll stick to exploring our own. Maybe finding whatever the hell is apparently in the field. Because I absolutely can't just brush that off because like. What the fuck.
The in-sys abuse topic isn't exactly triggering for us, but I do think it's important for the potential programming aspect of our system. To put it vaguely: our previous host had a relationship with another alter (also gone now), who may have been an internal handler. Said alter would change between being loving to delivering punishment if the previous host stepped out of line. These were often extreme but never strayed from the inner world. The kicker is the host thought they actually enjoyed having this done to the point where they'd post bragging about it. Now, what really tips me off is that when I think of that all in the whole "internal handler" terms and such: I get the dizzy. This means I'm touching something I shouldn't, which means I'm on to something. I feel like a detective. It's neat. (Yes I'm being careful)

Mother has similar issues with a variety of our host or host adjacent alters. It's. . . complicated. I understand the issue that can have and why that might have caused issues for the host. I hope you are able to find out more, I love playing detective myself, so I understand wanting to do it. I'm also glad you're being careful, we worry /lh.
I do think it's an interesting source to get into, it does TERRIBLE things to the brain, but what media doesn't? /lh
We are still massively hyperfixated on dream smp and minecraft in general, we consume HUNDREDS of hours of mcyt every month. And yes I hope my comment about exploring your headspace didn't come across as weird, it just sounds very interesting, I've always wished I could explore other's headspaces and see what it's like.
I don't know the role you'd use for an alter or the term for programming but like...the paper pals would be perfect for the alters that just sit there and don't do much...like to help the programmers have full control of the programmed of that makes sense?
-โ๏ธ(๐ฆฎ)
The paper pals is smart! That's a good idea!! We refer to those alters as informers (we have a few in our system) who's job is to either tell the abuser/programmer about bad behavior, answers all their questions or to provide them with trauma information to make someone easier to control!
