Scrap Along 2025

An early morning chat with Katia of Hidden Pond Yarns inspired me to propose… Scrap Along 2025

From Valentines Day through the Ides of March, knit, crochet, felt, weave, or otherwise make your favorite or new thing from leftover yarn!

Many (most?) of us will be piecing together what's left of our lives. Attempts to erase any of us affect all of us. I am determined to stay visible and support my 2SLGBTQ+ kith and kin. I am a Rebellious Knitter.

If I can't buy my favorite yarn, I'll use what I have left. I'm knitting my third pair of scrappy pirate socks in 2025. For the Scrap Along, I plan to knit a scrappy Musselburgh hat.

I made this mitered square blanket as a housewarming gift for my sister and her new beau.  It’s a labor of love, but I am a big fan of the riot of colors and all of my favorite sock yarn.
