Finally finished knitting my dress! (OK, technically I finished the knitting last week, but only got my act together, sewing in the reinforcement tape, yesterday.) It fits perfectly and I'm so pleased with it.

This took about three weeks to knit, from my own design, developing a pattern as I worked. Lots of measurements and calculations, but it turns out it's true: when you knit a tension square and determine stitches per inch, you really can make something that matches your size perfectly! Who knew?

Yarn: Yarnsmiths Merino DK, worked on 4mm needles, entirely in the round until the underarm.

My next pair of socks are quite bright. I was going to do a gusset and heel flap for this pair but didn't like how the colors pooled in the gusset. Instead I'm going to try out the sweet tomato heel.

Almost completely recovered from having to rip back to the life line. It set me back like 2 days but it could have been worse. Thank you past self for doing the life line.

This is one of my most used methods of binding off as it gives a polished finish to your projects it also has great stretchy memory that never loses its shape!

The tubular bind-off is a sewn bind-off which creates an invisible edge on a 1×1 rib matches perfectly to the tubular cast-on.

Joey and Andrew Socks! Made with lovely yarn from my wonderful friends (tysm @vitariesocks and @squidaresquishy) which they sent all the way from Philly as a Christmas gift. I love working with locally dyed yarn, so getting to use some that’s local to someone else was really cool! I really like the way these colours look together - I’ll probably make another stripey set with them both.

Yarn: Loop Sprig - the labels say ‘OOAK’ but neither of them seem to 100% match any of the colourways on the website, so perhaps discontinued or just a unique colourway!

Edit: I've been informed that OOAK stands for one of a kind so yes! Oops 😂

DEEP DIVE VEST from my Vivacious Vests collection. A hand knitting pattern for vest or slipover knitted bottom up in the round, then split at the underarms, knit back and forth, joined at the shoulders with plunging V-neck binding added in gradient colour.
