I got my hands on some rainbow scratch paper. And this is what I came up with. Fitting for Eevee, wouldn't you agree? I got to say, Eevee is among my favorite pokemon. And of course I own a copy of "Let's go Eevee!" for the switch. It's absolutely adorable.

So tired from class today in Brisbane - but it was so wonderful to meet so many calligraphers! I had a great time. (Not so sure about four floors of stairs to a heritage wooden loft space ... soooo many stairs to carry workshop supplies up 😂😂) I’m so happy and eager to see what magic these talented students create next! . While I was shopping for supplies I also found the much-talked-about scratch paper in Daiso and after watching @charlartscript’s super cool videos I had to have a go myself. It really shows the movement of what each tine should be doing - how to square those tips - maybe I need to buy a ton to use to teach tine manipulation??? Since that walk in Velleron, I am trying to connect a face to the turquoise Trabant that was parked there. And why he/she would paint his house with the same color. What if the driver of the red 2CV around the corner would do the same? These thoughts became doodles.

Next came the idea that our son would need a car to go to work. He plays those fantasy card games a lot. Car & card, let's play car. Fantasy is the start of many things. Like doodles for the soul.

It ended with a selfie thinking that only poetry could connect all this wandering on one piece of paper. Not true. Doodles can do it too!

The esthetic advantage of making doodles is that you end up with a car that has tires like a big camembert cheese and your head in a stamp without knowing where it all came from.
