“Kathryn, if you keep pushing yourself like this, you will fall apart at the seams.  Promise me you will take at least an hour to do something to de-stress.”  He looked so concerned and so exhausted.  

“Like what?” She almost laughed at the thought, “It’s not like we can afford for me to run one of my baths, the holodeck is obviously out of the question, as is replicating something to drink…”

“Those are excuses and you know it.” Chakotay wasn’t letting up, as he followed her into her quarters.  He had that determined tone to his voice that let her know he was going to keep pushing until she agreed or threatened to brig him, which was a ridiculous notion in the given situation.  “What would you normally do in the holodeck to unwind?”

Kathryn felt herself blush deeply at his probably innocently intended question.  She was wound so tightly right now she might explode on impact at the slightest jostling. Chakotay flushed as well as he realized from her expression what she wasn’t saying.

“Oh…” he pressed his lips together, “I see. No wonder you are having trouble sleeping.”

This was one of my very early Voyager fic ideas, back in the stage where you still want to stay in the canon timeline/setting, instead of going AU or canon divergent or fix it.  

Any time time gets rewound is a great opportunity to throw in your ship hooking up without changing the overall trajectory of canon.

So basically I thought that since she rejected his attempt to give her a tangible birthday present in the episode, maybe Chakotay could give Janeway the gift of a little stress relief in the form of pleasure instead..

FUQ YEA. ABSOLUTELY. they sip on that cuddle juice 24/7 for strong and healthy cuddle bones. favorite AND comfiest position for them is when jbear hugs her from behind (his arms easily overlap because she has such a smol frame <3) and just pepper a bunch of soft smoochies and smothers his beardy into his neck while dany gets to lean back into his stronk and floofy chest ❤️

he couldn’t because he would only bring ruin to the world she worked so hard to build. he shouldn’t because she deserves younger, better, stronger. but he is her servant still and a man worst of all. he would draw upon the strength of ten mainlanders and fight the army of the dead over and over again for her. but against the lips that draw closer to him, the spell cast by her floral and ashy scent, and the gentle fingers brushing against the chest hair peeking from his tunic, he is overwhelmed by a force that rivals the steel of a valyrian blade. his lips accept her invitation despite his futile struggle, his body melting against her petite figure and welding together like a long-lost piece from a broken frame. even if it is a false pretense, even if she were to break his heart all over again, he will gladly burn for a fractured hope and a future beyond his reach.

lmao if someone asked jorah to describe his favorite thing about his khaleesi, we would be here until the 75th coming of jesus. in summary: gentle heart ✅  beauty like no other ✅ smol figure that fits snuggly in tol man’s arms ✅ her laugh ✅  her messy hair and the afterglow post-lovemaking ✅ her hands ✅ ok but no the list is longer than santa’s game of thrones naughty list.

dany really likes his smiles because his broody ass rarely shows it to anyone else and it makes her feel super special. also the way he looks down to his feet and blushes whenever she praises/compliments him makes her go uwu. she loves his lil dimple and his scruff a lot too.

tbh ALLL the moments spent in each other’s company after they finally get together are their favorite moments because it’s “holy shit this is what we could have been doing years ago?? smfh” lol but really i think their all time favorite moment would be the one that started everything - when they first locked eyes back during her wedding with drogo and he handed her those ole dusty books. they’d look back on that moment fondly and reminisce on how far they’ve come <3
