He doesn't want her to go. Flat out. He didn't think anything they had done was a mistake-- actually, he thought it was kind of a blessing. He's always liked Cass, even if they'd agreed to just be friends when they were younger. She's always held a special place in his heart that he didn't really even know was there until seeing her again, fighting beside her again.
