Mabel Normand plays a second-hand rose in “Raggedy Rose” (1926) her final film. Produced by Hal Roach for the Pathe’ Exchange Distributors, It also co-starred Max Davidson & James Finlayson. The story was a comic concoction with contributions by Stan Laurel, Hal Yates & H. M. “Beanie” Walker among others. The domestic (American) release was a three-reel feature running at 30 minutes, but an extended 56 minute version was released to the foreign “export” markets.
