Cross and Ink meet accidentally in StoryShift. 

(or in another universe, it’s not important...well it must be a pacifist universe but...well I wil not use always Outertale)

Cross:....Ha. It have been a while...right?

Ink :...Hello. *more or less serious look*// *like if meet Cross was normal* *when he has not seen him in months*// *and that they're in opposite sides*

Cross :...Yeah same. *Tries to not smile...because he’s happy to see Ink in no-fight moment* You seem alright haha...

Ink :...yeah you too.

Then Cross sees something. And he wants to know because....he was not expecting “that”

Cross :...hum Ink? *sweats nervously*

Ink : Yeah?

Cross :..who it is? *points a little kid who is sleeping in Ink's arms* *a cute kid* *but he looks strangely like...*

Ink : My son. His name is Palette. *first little smile since the beginning of the discussion*

Cross :...haha of course, he looks like you *sweats nervously again*. Your son is very cute... haha..he has...cute golden wings...like..

Ink : Like Dream yes. It's normal, he's the father. *he says that like if he speaks about the weather*

Cross :...*realizes that Ink + Dream = Palette* 

and

Cross: *realizes that Ink is the mother.* (wtf is that!! Ink is a boy, like me and like Nightmare and Dream, right?)

and

Cross:  *imagines the worse* (homy....If Ink is under Dream’s aura influence, maybe that Dream has took advan...)

Ink : He's four and...Cross? You are still with me? * He waves his free hand in front of Cross eyes* ...Cross?

Cross :..*Error Error Error* ...*incoherent mental scream*

Ink :...Cross? Are you...okay? *begins to be worried, because it's still worrying to see a old friend have a mental break in front of us*

Cross : ...*bbiiipppppp*

Ink : I have broke you? *pause*...Apparently I have broke you. 

Cross : *rebooting 25%*

Ink :....Dude, you scare me. *wants to leave but something in him doesn’t want to leave now*

Cross *rebooting 50%*

Ink :...please can you stop to be a drama queen? *rolling eyes* Yes I am a parent, I have the role of the mum...but what is your problem?

Cross *rebooting 75%*

Ink :...Please don't tell me that you imagine the worse...

Cross : *Rebooting 100%* ...HAAAAAAAAA!! 

 Ink: OO

Cross: *takes Ink by the shoulders* I WILL SAVE YOU, YOUR SON AND YOU!!! DON'T WORRY!! YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BE SCARED ANYMORE!!

Ink: O_o....okkayyy You imagine the worse...(and you have woken Palette, good job)

One day, in Dreamtale

Nightmare Dream has been almost killed three times, recently, by doing his duty. Nightmare : THREE TIMES! Nightmare : Okay. If he takes it like that... Nightmare: .I will be forced to do something for being sure that this idiot will not be killed by another person that me (For my safety essentially). Nightmare : I will be forced to capture him and enclose him in his room! Cross : He has a room in your castle? oo Nightmare ...Yes? Cross Why? I thought that you hated him? Nightmare ...And where I should throw him then? *Sacarstic look*  Cross:....(You say that you hate him but he has a room for him in your castle? You say that you want to kill him but you rather try to capture him? rriigghhtttt)

Meanwhile, in Dreamswap.

Dream : Nightmare has been almost killed two times recently. (you are so selfish brother. You play with MY life by putting yourself in danger.) Ink: It's not what you want? Oo Why are you angry then? Dream  (Well right now, our lifes are bonded...so) I'm the one who should put a end to his life. Ink: Well why do you always try to capture him then? Since I know you, It’s always what you try to do?. Dream : (Because I can't kill him for now) Well because...I want put him in a fair trial. (and it will be more useful to have him under my hand when I will have a solution) Dream I guess that I will be forced to capture him and throw him in a “no-magic” cage.. Ink: ...It's not what you try to do every week? Dream: Stop the sarcastic remarks Ink. My patience has limits.

SD!Palette: *laughs * *claps his hands*

SD!Dream:....You are difficult son. *look at his baby son without a smile*

SD!Palette: *imitates Dream’s face* *crosses his arms*

SD!Ink: Dream...what is happened here? There are vegetables everywhere on you Oo

SD!Palette: MOMMY! *ultra brightest smile*
