Phoebe in wonderland part 2: poor little oysters

This drawing took forever! I was having such a hard time finding inspo for the twins outfits. Everything was either too simple, extremely wacky, or extremely disturbing and I really wanted something more cute.

But I couldn't be happier with the results. I love how the background turned out!

INTERVIEWER: What had happened?

SUBJECT: Agent (CYRUS) has come back from his trip. He was monitoring most of North America and parts of the Caribbean. He had complained about headaches which are normal after post materialization. After a couple of days and a visit to the ward the headaches only got worse. He was experiencing something the nerd team called parasitic materializing.

INTERVIEWER: Do you understand what that means?

SUBJECT: Something came back with him. And it was in his head.

INTERVIEWER: What had happened to Agent (CYRUS)

SUBJECT: I don't really know? I guess his head just got bigger and then it popped. It was really messy. I wasn't there to see it but I saw what came after. He was in the bathroom and I guess the pressure was too much and something spilled out. The whole ward was on lockdown until they where able to get the fucking thing in storage

Poppy's pokemon team.

Poppy was born and raised on a farm in the dream world. She inherited her families natural green thumb and loves gardening (mostly flowers). Hence all of her pokemon are grass types or bug types. Specifically the ones that help with pollination (bees and butterflies).

Plusle is there because Poppy is a twin and I thought it'd be cute if she had Plusle and her sister has Minun.

Phoebe's pokemon team. Her team was probably one of the easier ones to put together.

Jigglypuff- Literally the first pokemon I thought of for Phobe. What better pokemon for an insomniac than one famous for putting people to sleep. 🤣

Drowzee- Chosen for the same reason as Jigglypuff. Can put Phoebe to sleep.

Musharna- Felt like it was on theme.

Teddiursa- Everyone needs a teddy bear to cuddle when they're sleeping.

Galarian ponyta- Phoebe loves unicorns! This pokemon was perfect for her.

Dragonite-Phoebe's a fantasy girly. First animal I think of when I think fantasy is a dragon. Dragonite just made sense.

The girls are enjoying another pride month!

I decided to have Phoebe flying the inclusive pride flag for this one. Mostly because she's 12, I'm not all that invested in figuring out what her sexuality would be. We'll just say she's not interested in romance and dating right now. Phoebe's got enough on her plate.

And I did two versions of this piece since Phoebe has two different color schemes (one for the dream world and her normal one). Personally I prefer the pastel version but tell me your favorite.

Camilla's pokemon team. (Decided to draw her in her human form for this.)

Cubone- Camilla has spent hundred of years fearing and hiding from her bloodthirsty siblings. She's a very lonely person. So the lonely pokemon felt fitting.

Mimikyu- She like Mimikyu, longs for connections with others and hides her true form hoping to finally be accepted.

Galvantula- Camilla is inspired by a spider, so I felt she needed at least one spider pokemon.

Latias- Don't know if I can explain this one.

Meowstic- Specifically the male one. They are defensive of their loved ones and will unleash their full power. Defending her friends and loved ones is the only thing that will cause Camilla to realize her own strength.

Misdreavus- Camilla is a nightmare weaver. The realm she hails from, her father and siblings, feeds on the fears of humanity. Misdreavus is a good representation of this.

Lavender's pokemon team.

Lavender is a rather fickle individual. Unlike her twin Poppy she didn't inherent the family green thumb, and so she's always flitting from one interest to another. Trying to find her purpose in life. Which is why the first two pokemon I chose for were Ditto and Eevee.

Minun- Her sister has Plusle. I just thought it'd be cute if Lavender had Minun.

Rotom- kind of chosen for the same reasons as Ditto and Eevee. It has many different forms.

Whimsicott and Aipom- the both seem to be energetic troublemakers which suits Lavender to a T. Apparently Aipom is a little bit clumsy too.
