Alex- originally West Virginia/eastern TN/KY, but boy, would the Mullners THRIVE in Florida. Alex being the hottie of the retirement community gd😮💨
Clint- Pittsburgh, not Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh.
Elliott-not a state technically , but he would be annoying the fuck out of the Puerto Ricans (originally from Connecticut)
Emily and Haley: technically multiple states here, but the suburbs of NYC- the HOA hates to see Emily coming.
Harvey: Wisconsin/ Minnesota
Leah: Texas—specifically Austin, or Michigan (not Detroit, she’s in northern Michigan/upper peninsula- Mackinaw, Sault Ste Marie, white fish point, the stuff they show you in the travel commercials)
Maru/Sebastian-PNW, or Montana
Penny: honestly she also gives West Virginia and Florida because of Pam. Maybe the mullners and her are neighbors in every universe. To be original we’ll say western North Carolina, but NOT Charlotte. She’s at least an hour out.
Sam- Virginia, Florida, Texas—basically anywhere there is a Military base. Which is everywhere.
Sandy: New Mexico/Arizona
Shane: Ohio, Shane and Jas lived in Cleveland/NE (depression) and had to go to West Ohio or Indiana to live with Marnie. (Farm)
Maybe even like Iowa or Nebraska if you want REAL Marnie. (Bigger farm) Honestly the term “Ranch” could have Marnie in Oklahoma. Depends on how far we want to travel I guess.
