just a fun idea but imagine a smp called fourteensmp and it has exactly fourteen members:

then adds some mods too like:

man imagine the builds foolish could make with more wood variants, plus sam + foolish combo could make some awesome train designs, i really wish cc's would experiment/play more with minecraft mods

Please help!

I’m trying to figure out if a Flo Mask will fit me!! If anyone else who has bought one has any advice, I would really appreciate it.

I have a VERY small face. My nose bridge / where my glasses sit to the VERY END of my chin is BARELY 3 inches. (Overbite + 4’11 + childhood malnutrition combo maybe?? I don’t fucking know)

I will get the kids size if I MUST, but I’d like not to because I want filters that actually have a decent lifespan on them. And the kids size filters only last 8 hours. (Which is not good for an eventual job or the day long fairs that I also work at.)

The only masks I know for sure fit me are the kids size kn95’s from the MASKC brand.

it COMPLETELY envelops my chin, and doesn’t seal correctly around my chin or nose because of it. Hopefully it fits my partner lol.

fair warning- this is going to be a fairly heavy post.

TLDR before the cut is: I am finally trying to break my parents into the idea that they should care about Covid, and so far, it’s going horribly. I feel like I’m going crazy, and I need some help or input or something, because I feel like I’m actually losing sanity over this.

I would appreciate literally any advice or kind words, if you have the time to spare.

A quick brief: I am no longer a minor, but me and my partner still live with my parents. I probably won’t be able to move out until late summer or early autumn next year at the very least, and it’s probably going to take longer than that because I live in a tourist town and everything sucks for anyone who actually wants to live here.

and we’re both autistic & disabled too so that doesn’t help. I don’t even have a job yet, and I probably won’t be able to look for one until after winter. (So, until like. April, or after July even bc I have a shit ton of other stuff to do in the summers.)

I am genuinely worried about what this situation will do to our relationship if I cannot convince them to understand this.

I do have a phobia- Emetophobia, the fear of vomiting, to be exact. It impacts how I eat. My parents seem entirely convinced that I only care about Covid because of my phobia, and that it’s irrational.

frankly? I know it’s not connected to my phobia. Or at least, not as insanely as they think it is. I AM worried about how any gastric symptoms of long covid would impact me, though, because that could get very dark VERY FAST.

My parents are liberal and generally good people. My dad’s not a good dad, but he’s an okay person. I’m trans, they support me, etc. But they can’t get their heads around Covid, at least not right now.

So here’s the timeline of events so far:

I send my parents an email full of Covid resources and info. I will admit that I forgot to specify ‘don’t talk to me in person about this’ on my first email like I was intending to, which is a pretty big oversight on my part. Still didn’t warrant what happened next, though.

It’s also probably a bit more ‘emotional’ than I should have made it at the end. But still, what they did next? Holy fuck.

Here’s the email.

And here’s what happened next, from the account I wrote down afterwards for my therapist.

My therapist is… okay. She’s good, I like her, and I don’t want to go through finding another right now. She believes masking & Covid is important to me, but she doesn’t.. really believe me, you know?

she wears a surgical mask when I see her, but not at any other time, as far as I’m aware. I watch her put it on when I get there, and that’s all I know.

I keep trying to draft another email, and before that, I also send a text to both of my parents.

Zero response. No reactions, no words, JACK SHIT.

I seriously doubt they’re reading any articles I send them. They both work from home, and I know they’re busy and stressed. But they have the time to read one article, to read one or two things a day and work their way down the list.

I still don’t think they’re reading anything. At all.

so, here’s the second email.

My mom wants ALL of us to go into my therapist to talk about this, which makes me feel like I’d have to prove my case in REAL TIME to THREE PEOPLE AT ONCE. None of whom believe me, and one of whom probably won’t listen at all and will make the situation actively worse.

what do I do? Seriously, what do I DO? I shouldn’t have to do EVERYTHING for these people, but I feel like I’m going to have to make a PowerPoint presentation and read every single one of these things to them WORD FOR WORD because they just won’t read it on their own.

and of course if I get nervous or scared or angry or I sound like I’m about to cry or I cry, my argument is automatically invalid and I’m an insane person.

so. Uh. Please help lol. I feel like I’m only making this worse, but I don’t.. know what else I can do. Please tell me I’m not losing it. Haha.
