drew on the surface-level seems to most like your stereotypical popular guy, and with my experience with popular dudes is that they fall into one of three categories
homophobic
probably homophobic but does strange homo-erotic jokes with his friends
actually pretty chill (the secret third option for them /j)
and taking into perspective that drew's main direction of his frustration and ire in season one is towards the music club, a group that before jake was heavily outcasted and has the two canon and openly queer characters, i think it'd be *easy* to assume that drew would fall into the homophobic category to the average bystander
but.
cmon imagine this in some universe where drew and some member of the music club are bickering and they pull out the "okok well im not gonna sit around and listen to some insecure homophobic douche tell me what's freakish or not"
and he's like "??????im not homophobic i have two dads?????"
it's funny i swear you have to trust me💔😢🙏

Nice seeing you in my inbox again! First of all: Those three categories are so accurate for my school, you hit the nail right on the head, haha.
Second, seeing as he's only ever mentioned his "Dad" or his "parents", and never his Mom, this could reasonably be true. I've seen people headcanon this for Milly, too, since only her Dad is ever mentioned.
But I think it's way funnier for Drew, just because of the "Even I'm not that much of an asshole" factor. As in, he may bully people for having a specific hobby that doesn't affect him, but being homophobic is a step too far. Even he wouldn't bully anyone over something that stupid, he says, ignoring the fact that bullying them for liking making music is also extremely stupid.
(Plus, there's this non-canon Driam comic thingy, which yes, is non-canon. But you'd think that everything about the characters would be the same, except the fact that there's Driam. And I mean...The face Drew makes when Liam accidentally calls him cute is definitely not the face someone would make if they were homophobic, haha).

Although, I've been wondering this for a while:
Do you think Hank would enforce the laws of "I licked it, so it's mine", but would make it biting because it was a lot more his style? I mean, I don't think anyone wants to argue with the grunt whose face is half metal and could probably bite someone's head off with those sharp teeth of his.
And if he does bite to claim, what does that entail for our dear Player who is looking mighty bitable in Hank's view?

Hello Seashell Anon! :) This is a really funny idea. I think that generally speaking, Grunts in the AU are at least a little more animalistic than humans so the act of trying to "claim" things is probably pretty meaningful to them. Most grunts rarely try to do it intentionally though, just because there's little point to trying to keep something safe and to yourself in the wasteland that is Nevada.
Hank's different in this regard; he's far more likely to just give in to whatever impulses hit him and, of course, this includes being territorial as well. His stuff is for his use only. Don't touch his gun, don't touch his knives, keep your hands off of his food and his clothes, end of story. I can definitely see him putting ownership over this stuff too, either from etching something in it if it's a weapon (likely a kill count), or just straight up biting it if it's food or anything that he notices others take a huge notice in. That's like the ultimate version of a claim to him.
And oddly enough, while the others did think his antics were really weird (because really, why would you bite something like a gun or clothes?), they honestly didn't expect him to try and claim you that way too. (Well, Deimos actually had the thought of it, but it was written off as being too outlandish by Sanford and Doc.)

But when they see you lounging on the couch next to to Hank after a mission, they're shocked to the core to actually see him nip at you. It's affectionate (far too much than they were comfortable seeing), just a quick little press of his teeth against your palm as you survey his maskless face for any scratches. They're only horrified further when he does it a bit farther up your arm (a visible spot near your wrist) and you only chuckle in response. How weren't you perturbed by this in any way??
(You didn't know why he was doing it, but it reminded you a bit of a puppy, so you let it slide. Plus it's not like he was really hurting you. Maybe it was just a grunt thing?)
Cue Deimos pulling Doc and Sanford back and hissing at them. ("I fucking told you this would happen, didn't I?") While they whisper at each other about what to do and glower at Hank, he just turns his head in their direction and tilts his chin up at them, infuriatingly smug. And this only gets worse the longer you're around him too. Light mouthing turns to nips with more pressure at random times, ensuring that you'll have a light mark on you for a little while. Other grunts should recognize who your most favored vessel is, and more importantly, who exactly is protecting you. You were his Player, just as he was yours to control. You raise a brow when this happens, but rationalize it as an accident. Though this doesn't stop you from teasing him about it:
"You know, if you keep doing that I'll start biting back," you joke as you look down at the tiny bruise on your arm, and the other three stiffen from their place in the room. Deimos chokes on his cigarette (again), Sanford looks down at his hands with a mixture of indignation and shock, and Doc stands up to go find a mission to get Hank as far away from you as possible right now. Because everyone who's even the slightest bit acquainted with Hank's behavior knows that it's probably what he wants to happen.
He's always been yours after all, and a mark to show it would make it more official. He'd never thought about it before, but the image of your blunt teeth pressing deep into his skin and leaving behind a clear sign of ownership made his breath hitch. You'd do that for him? Claim him as your own for everyone to see?
(He'd have to do more to make sure you were serious before proceeding. But if you were, as he was now hoping, maybe he could ask you to apply a bit more pressure than he'd usually do on you to make the mark a little more permanent. Plus, you already know he's tough, just please claim him already, he can handle it!)

okay, I maybe went overboard, i didn’t realize how many Thoughts I had about Mai in the back of my mind but i too am a Mai stan so let’s go
for a long time Mai could only stand very energetic songs bc that’s all that could keep her attention, she’s very into punk and rap, she’d be a fan of Pleasure Venom, Aye Nako, Desa, Nicki Minaj, Meg Thee Stallion, & also Fiona Apple & Mitski (i feel like Mitski goes without saying tbh).
Sokka and Ty Lee get her into more R&B and laid back music, she comes to love Syd, Jamila Woods, Japanese Breakfast, WILLOW, and Janelle Monae, because everyone with taste likes Janelle Monae
she likes drawing! Her art is bold black and white illustrative designs, it lends itself well to tattoo designs and while she doesn't herself tattoo, she’s on commission at Suki’s shop and works w/ the tattoo artists there
Mai also uses her incredible artistic talents to make the stupidest memes ever, she secretly has a popular insta page for posting them. sokka is the only one of her friends she shares this with, he thinks they're hilarious
her & Sokka are best friends, gossip buddies, and these are their love languages
Toph is like her younger sister & like any terrifying younger sister, she'll just show up at Mai's house without warning. when the doors are locked. and windows closed. Mai has no idea how she gets in
her and Ty Lee have 3 cats. Ty Lee named one Sparkles, Zuko named one Tangerine but mostly calls the cat ‘little bastard’, and Mai named the last one (a black cat) Midnight
because of Aang's influence & Zuko's annoyance w/ it, Mai takes to greeting Zuko w/ Flameo Hotman
oh & her an Aang? best of friends. he's over all the time to meditate & do yoga w/ Ty Lee, and Aang is such a genuinely positive person that his laugh always makes Mai smile (everyone else is extremely jealous of this effect Aang (and Ty Lee) have on her)
she gardens!!! she grows flowers with Suki & they come up with amazing hybrid flowers. Mai names at least one flower after Ty Lee but its ambiguous enough that she can claim it's coincidence to keep up her Image™ but 'pink lady fire lily' is not fooling anyone
she definitely learns how to make her own knives. & do you know the YouTube channel of the guy making knives out of the most unlikely ridiculous objects? that's her favorite media ever made
she starts making videos of her own knife making process. one time the guy from that ^ channel commented on her video, and that was the first time Ty Lee had ever seen Mai cry (happy tears)
this isn't my best metaphor esp since i had a minor surgery earlier (dw im good!) so words are muddled but I'm a trans disabled person so. Figuring out you're disabled is kind of like figuring out you're trans. mtf if you think that uch about being a girl you probably are along with however it applies to other trans variations. yeah.
